The next day, Betty got a call from Cheryl saying there was an appearance in San Francisco about fashion and they wanted Betty to give a talk. "When do we leave?" Betty asked and she heard Cheryl sigh over the phone. "Tonight at 6, the talk is tomorrow" Cheryl informed and Betty nodded. "Okay, text me the details" Betty said and hung up. She went back into the bedroom where she had left jughead asleep, and gently shook him awake. "Mmm, morning gorgeous" he mumbled, his voice still thick with sleep. "Good morning" she smiled, leaning down to kiss his lips. "I just got off the phone with Cheryl, we have to go to San Francisco" she told him and jug sat up. "When?" He asked. "Today" Betty said. "Really? Why?" He asked and Betty started telling him about the talk. "Okay, we better get on with the day then" he chuckled, swinging his legs out of bed and standing up. "I think I'm going to head down to the gym" Betty told him, shrugging on her workout clothes. "Okay sounda good, I'm going to edit some last minute photos then how about we go out for breakfast before we pack?" He suggested and Betty nodded, kissing him. "Sounds like a plan".
Hours later, Betty and jughead were on a plane, heading to San Francisco. Archie, Reggie, Kevin and Cheryl were also there. Betty decided to do her own hair and makeup for this event, and let everyone else have the week off. Jughead was sat next to Betty, editing some photos when Betty leaned her head on his shoulder and kissed his neck. "You okay baby?" He smirked and Betty nodded, cuddling closer. "I'm so tired, I didn't sleep very well last night" she said. "How come?" Jug asked, shutting his laptop and turning to hold her. "I don't know" she shrugged. "I just couldn't get comfortable and I had stomach cramps, but my periods on it's way so that's why" she added and jug nodded. "Well when we land, we'll head straight to the hotel and we can get some rest" he said, softly, kissing her head. After another couple of hours, the plane finally landed and they were all in an Uber. "Are you guys joining us for dinner?" Archie asked, looking over at jughead and Betty. "Not today man, Betts is tired" jug said. "You okay b?" Kevin asked. "Yeah, just exhausted" Betty smiled. "But we can all have breakfast tomorrow Before the event?" Betty suggested and everyone agreed.
As soon as Betty and jughead got to their hotel room, Betty stripped out of her clothes and jumped straight onto the bed, getting under the covers. "You're adorable" jug laughed. "But how about you have a bath or shower before you sleep?" He said. "We've been travelling for a while" he said and Betty nodded, agreeing. "Can you carry me?" She grinned and held her arms out. "So demanding" he teased as he picked her up and carried her to the bathroom. He placed her down as he turned the shower on and when the water was warm enough, the both stepped in. "I love you" Betty said. "I love you too" he smiled. They helped each other get clean and then hopped out and got into their pyjamas. "I'm starving, shall we order room service?" Jug asked, and Betty nodded. "Can I have cake?" Betty asked and jug nodded. "Of course baby" he grinned, grabbing the menu and picking up the phone. He ordered and within twenty minutes it's was there and they were sat in bed eating. "I love that we do this" jug beamed, eating pizza and Betty giggled. "Me too" she sighed, happily.
