Raina POV
I knew that Mitch wouldn't listen to me, because I hadn't been through anywhere near as much as he had. But I had to try. I walked into his room. He was curled up on the bed, sobbing and telling himself that he didn't deserve to live. I felt fury at Scott twist itself up in my gut, as Mitch kept crying and insulting himself. I walked to the bed and sat down. Mitch jerked his head up and put it back down.
"Go away," he said, his voice muffled by the pillow.
"Mitch, I just want to talk to you."
"Go away." I sat stubbornly on the bed until he looked up. "What are you doing?"
"I want to talk to you."
"No." I could tell that Mitch wouldn't ever talk to me. I stood up and walked out of the room. I closed the door quietly and went over to Kirstie.
"He's never going to talk to me. He doesn't trust mew enough."
"Yeah. But thanks for trying." I nodded at Kirstie and walked to the door. "I'm going to go now."
"Bye."
"Bye."
Kirstie POV
I sighed when Raina left, wishing that someone could get Mitchy to talk. I missed his old, cheerful, queen personality, and it was all Scott's fault. But I missed Scott too. However, I hated him too much. In other words, I was really having conflicted feelings about all of this.
