Lalaine's POV
"Hi," She greeted, smiling.
I saw some of my classmates were amazed the way she smile. Most of the boys were whisling, parang handang-handa na sila makipagkaibigan.
I sighed heavily.
"I am Briana San Jose from A and D but I decided to shift my strand" I can see the desires on the eyes of our boys.
Napapikit ako't huminga ng malalim. At tsaka ko ibinalik ang tingin ko kay Bri.
"I hope we can be friends," she added looking at me. Friends huh, mamamo friends.
"You may take your sit." Ms. Ginabatan pooked the sit beside Tri.
I saw her smile.
"Ano ba naman yan Sejano, ikaw na naman"
"What the Freak not my baby Tri"
"Dito ka nalang Briana babe"
I shook my head as i open my notes. Saktong dumating ang teacher namin sa Chem.
And here's the last subject ended. It was 3 in the afternoon at may training kami ng hanggang alas sais.
I'm packing up my things.
"Psst" Tri called me. Hindi ko siya pinansin.
"Psst" He repeated.
"Ano ba, may pangalan ako" I greeted my teeth as I glared at him.
"Okay, wife." He continued putting his things inside his black bagpack. Nakita kong napatigil sa pag-aayos ang babae sa tabi niya nang marinig si Tri.
Binigyan ko si Trino ng makahulugang tingin para bawiin ang sinabi niya. Fuck him.
"Okay, okay I was just kidding" he raised his both hand as a sound of defeat. He chuckled, continuing what he's doing.
I let a heavy sigh out.
"Do you wanna, eat before training?" He asked not looking at me. I put my bag on back, waiting for him.
"Magsisimula na yung training, alam mo napaka BI mo" I said not minding Bri on his side.
Unti-unti nang naglalabasan ang mga kaklase namin.
"BI? As in Baby Ikaw?" He chuckled.
"Napaka mais mo, bilisan mo na nga"
"Mais? As in maisasa-altar ka?" What the fuck is him.
"Bahala ka sa buhay mo" I turned my back at him and start walking.
"Okay, okay I'm sorry, eto na nga, hoi!" He called me pero hindi ako lumingon. Bahala ka. I smiled on what I thought.
"Hui sorry na, nagbibiro lang eh"
"Magbihis ka na" I said as I opened my locker.
Magka harap lang ang lockers ng basketball team and cheerdance team dahil dalawa lang kaming gumagamit ng gymnasium. Yung iba ay sa open field.
"Hindi ka naman pwedeng magalit, may tapsi pa 'ko sa 'yo mamaya" I look at him, dumila siya. I hissed. Parang bata.
"Okay streching!!" Our coach started to instruct.
After streching we started doing our routine.
"One, two, three, four, five six, seven, eight" we counted in chorus in a low voice.
Lifting na. I counted on my own hearing the count of other. I put my right foot on Daven's handa and the other is on Liam's.
Okay, count for lift. Five, six, seven, eight. Fuck.
"Oh-oh"
Sinunod pa rin namin ang counting ng tamang pagbaba.
At tsaka ako naupo. Fuck. It hurts. I held my right ankle, I think it was sprained. Fuck. Ansakit. Masyadong na-strech ang ligaments.
Dinaluhan ako ng iba.
"Ta-tanga tanga kase" I heard Bam saying those words though it was in low voice. Hindi ko na lang pinansin.
They did the PRICED method. Pinasandal nila ko sa bench.
Minutes later dumating na ang ang ice na nasa icepack. Shit ansakit. Napapa-pikit na lang ako.
"Tabi-tabi, akin na" I hear the familiar voice demanding.
He applied the ice on my ancle.
"Are you okay?"
"mukha ba 'kong, okay?"
I saw his face mad and worried kaya tumigil na 'ko. He bit his lower lip.
I can see Bam's eyes on me with fire.
He compressed and elevated my ankle while holding the icepack. Fuck. Napapikit ako.
"Tabi!" he sounded in frustration. Inalalayan niya akong makatayo.
Ansakit mama.
"Fuck her! I hate her!"
I heard Bam cursed me.
I-ika-ika pa akong nag lalakad kahit naka-alalay si Tri.
He was in silent.
"I'm sorry" I said.
He didn't talk.
Dahan-dahan niya 'kong inilapat sa kama nang makarating kami sa clinic at inalalayan ang hita kong maka-angat.
He stared me while crossing his arms. His brows were furrowed biting his lower lip. He looks worried and mad at the same time. I pouted.
Nag-sorry naman ako kanina.
"Why can't you take care of yourself?" he scolded me. His voice rise a little that made me surprise.
"I said i'm sorry" I did not look at him biting my nails.
"I'm sorry" he said.
"You don't have to say sorry, my fault"
He sat on the bed next to me.
"I'm so worried about you, fuck." he pulled his hair out of frustration.
"Sejano, tawag ka na ni cap." The guy said entering the clinic. "Okay ka lang ba mag-isa dito lalaine?" the guy look at me.
I nodded.
"'Wag ka aalis dito, babalik ako"
He turned his back on me and start walking. Medyo hindi na masakit ang angkle ko. It was 4:30 in the afternoon. Antagal ko pa mag-aantay. I closed my eyes.
Gusto ko matulog, pero 'di ako makatulog. Nakakatakot si Tri kapag nagagalit. 'kala mo pinag sakluban ng langit at lupa.
I heard the door open. I saw her.
"Are you alright?" she asked. Kelan ka pa naging concern?
"Can I talk to you?" she added.
"Nakikipag-usap ka na 'di ba?" I fake my smile.
"Ahh-eh" she scratch his head. "I just wanna say sorry for turning back at you, hindi ko ginusto" she sounded apologetic.
I didn't talk, I just let her speak.
"I'm scared of losing a friend," she mumbled. I found my self in tears. Kumikirot na naman ang puso ko.
"It was hard for me, naiipit ako, it hurts a lot kapag nakikita kita. Hindi ako nagsasalita pero gusto ko ulit na maayos ang pag-kakaibigan natin. I missed you so much lalaine" she cried so hard.
"I know you feel betrayed, una pa lang, alam na namin. Marie were so inlove with Troy. She even tell her dad to negotiate." she stop talking.
What? Negotiate?
"What do you mean?"
"I can't tell you it's none of my business," she wiped up her tears. "I'm here to ask for your forgiveness. I mean it, I really mean it"
I didn't talk. I let a heavy sigh.
It hurts, a lot. I missed you too. I think i'm not yet ready.
My eyes widened when he kneeled.
"Stand up, please, don't do this. I'm n-not yet ready. Tumayo ka 'diyan."
She slowly obeyed what i said.
"I'll wait Lalaine" she smiled. "I'll wait"
Nagpakawala ako ng buntong-hininga. I close my eyes. Fuck, dumagdag na naman sa isipin ko yung 'negotiate'. Ano ba? Anong nangyayari. Bakit ayaw ako lubayan ng mga problema.
I checked if my ankle is good. Nakatayo naman na ako ng maayos. Ilang saglit pa dumating na si Tri.
"Anak ka ng tupa oh!" he massaged his forehead when he saw me exercising. I chuckled.
"Ang kulit mong bata ka," pinupunasan niya ang pawis niya sa leeg. Damn you, you're freaking hot pero di kita magawang gustuhin.
"Okay na ko, oh" I jumped assuring him. He shook his head.
He held me my bag and uniform para makapag-bihis na ko. Nagpalit na ako sa cr ng clinic.
After that I packed my things.
"Let's go?" I said leading the way.
"Give me that." hinablot niya sa 'kin ang bag ko. Epal.
I fastened my seatbelt. Fuck this seatbelt. Fuck the fuck. Ang hilig ko na sa 'fuck' this days. Iba talaga ang nararamdaman ko pag nakakakita ako ng seatbelt. Hiya.
We were in silent, we're both enjoying the Ben&Ben vibes. God Sent.
"Dalawang order po ng tapsi" I payed the bill when we received our order. He held the tray of our order.
This tapsilogan will gave you the vibe of 90's, designes were so traditional. It was vintage. The surroundings with bamboo and the palayoks' shape of the chandelier.
I don't like history, but the designs were just amazing. We sat on the square table made of bamboo. I sat infront of him.
We were in silent eating. Tri stopped weating when he's getting something on my bag. Wait? My bag?
"What are you doing!" I hissed.
"I'll borrow your phone"
"Ni hindi ka man lang nag-paalam!" I glared at him.
"Paalam" he chuckled. Fuckkkk. I rolled my eyes.
He tapped the screen of my phone.
"Smile" mas lalong nangunot ang noo ko. "Cute" he smiled tapping again my phone. I saw him smiled infront of my phone. Did he just captured himself?
Hindi ko na siya pinansin at nagpatuloy na lang sa pagkain. May kung ano-ano pa siyang kinakalikot sa cellphone ko at tsaka niya inilapag sa mesa.
"Extra rice please," I said raising my hand.
"Takaw," he smirked.
While eating I saw familiar face walking towards us. He's wearing maong shorts and a black polo with the three unbuttoned button.
My heart start beating so fast.
He grabbed my arm agressively, Tri held his arm and put it forcely away from me. My eyes widened.
"Lalaine, lets talk." he authoratively said, "And you" he look at trino intensely, "Don't interfere."
