~Josie's P.O.V~
Hey, I'm Josie otherwise known as Josette Saltzman. I'm a month into my Junior year in high school. I'm head cheerleader and I have the highest grades in my class. Last year was amazing, I had a boyfriend who was QB1. Oh but then he cheated on me, lol. I didn't really love him anyway, although at first he really was all about me. What can I say? Men are pigs.
My twin sister Lizzie is the most popular girl in Mystic Falls High, she's in charge of the whole fashion club at school too. While I am also my classes student president. Every morning I make announcements for the junior class. My best friend Hope Mikaelson is my Vice President, so my life is going pretty well.
It's currently 6:30 am, I'm getting ready for school right now. We have a game tonight so I get dressed into my cheer uniform, a red and black skirt and crop top with "Timberwolves" across the top. Then I grab my all white Nike's for cheer and white socks. I put my hair up in a loose pony tail, pulling a couple strands out to frame my face and the curls fall against my back. Dang I look hot! For my makeup I put a deep red lipstick with a gloss on top, mascara and highlight, then fill in my brows. Done!
Lizzie meets me downstairs with her hair down in light waves, a black skirt and cream colored blouse. Matching the outfit she sports some nice ass heels in black.
The time is only 7:15 am now so we have time to get coffee before picking up Hope. We share a BMW 8 series convertible in red. It's a stunning car! Lizzie always drives since I don't really like driving. Anyway Dunkin, here we come.
We both order the same thing, "medium iced coffee with extra almond milk and sugar." Then grab a medium iced coffee with cream and sugar for Hope.
"What's up bitches" Hope screams while hopping into the back of my seat. Her hair is up in a pony tail and she's wearing the same cheer uniform as me. She looks so hot, as always.
"Here babe, your coffee" i winked at my best friend giving her the coffee.
Hope and I's relationship is hella gay. We're in love but like as best friends. If that makes sense, like we'd never date, that's gross she's like my sister. But we flirt with each other as if we're dating.
"Oh my god guys, stop flirting!" Lizzie chimes in, making us all laugh as we pull up to the school.
"Oh Jose, there's a new junior coming to school. Principle Williams wants you to give her a tour and show her to her classes first period. So you won't be in Math today" thank god my best friend is my assistant principal of our class, she always keeps me up to date.
"Thank god, math sucks ass just like the man who teaches it"
We all get out of the car, earning a few stares. You'd think that only happens in the movies, but we're high-key the shit.
People watch as Lizzie walks in front of us with Hope and I behind her. The perfect trio.
Home room starts in 10 minutes to I break the triangle and head to the main office. Soon I'll be making the announcements for the junior student body.
"Damn girl. You look hot today." Lucas Collins, QB1 and a senior, looks me up and down. I roll my eyes. He is a class A perv and has fucked just about anything that moves. Well, not me.
After announcements I wait by the attendance office and tell them I'm giving a tour during my first period, so they can give my ass hat of a teacher a heads up. I happen to have perfect attendance.
Finally, I see a girl walking down the empty halls on her way to the attendance office. As she gets closer I can see how stunning she is. Her hair is nearly black and it falls just above her shoulders. She's wearing black ripped jeans that hug her body all too well and a skin tight tube top in baby blue.
"Hi, you must be Penelope Park. I'm Josette Sal-."
"I know who you are" she takes a long look at me cutting me off. "Super hot head cheerleader, president of her class as well as top of her class."
"So you've done you're research?"
"More like I saw you walking in and asked the closest person who you are" she bit her lip looking me up and down. "Because well, damn."
"Thanks" I can't help but blush at such a gorgeous girl flirting with me. "So um lets start the tour!" I've never been so flustered and she's really confident. She could totally top me. Wow, okay did I really just think that?
As the tour goes on she continues to flirt, making my face look all tomato like. I swear this never happens to me, I'm Josette Saltzman and people ask me out everyday. Why does this Park chick have such a hold on me.
"I have three classes with you? Including gym? Looks like you're gonna be seeing a lot more of me" currently the halls are all empty and Penelope has me against a locker with her finger tracing the end of my skirt that falls just below my ass. I can hardly breathe at the moment.
"Looks like you're dreams are coming true" I smirk making her lick her lips.
"So Josette Saltzman, can I get your number" Penelope's eyes stare into mine before looking down at my lips, then quickly back up. The bell rings and students rush out of classrooms.
"Find me at the football game and I may just give you it. I'm sure you'll see me there" I wink making her chuckle before I walk away. She's gonna see me after this class I'm going to, so I'll probably end up giving her my number then. I just wanted to watch her face when I flirted back at her. I really need to find Hope and Lizzie so I can tell them all about this Penelope Park. Suddenly I feel an arm pull me to the side away from the swarm of students. Thank god it's my girls. Just who I needed to talk to. "Oh my gosh. Ladies, so you know how I gave that new student a tour? Her name is Penelope Park. She's so fucking hot. The whole tour we were flirting and I swear she nearly kissed me!"
"Damn Jose, you get just about anyone acting a fool for you" Lizzie laughed. She's not wrong, but this is so different, I think I'm a fool for her.
We head to our second period classes, Hope and I have World History II. While Lizzie goes to Interior Design II. The bell rings and we get in our seats. Of course Hope and I sit together right in front of the class. While my teacher Mrs. Claire speaks, my full attention is on the lesson. Everyone thinks I cheated my way to the top of the class, but really I just love learning. I study hard and set academic goals. Nobody would believe that anyway.
Soon enough lunch comes around and Penelope and I are going to my usual table. We just got out of English III. I ended up giving her my number but told her that she better come to the game. She said she wouldn't miss me dancing around in my little cheer uniform. Such a flirt.
Hope and Lizzie come to the table and smile at Penelope, ugh they're so obvious. I introduce Penelope to my sister and best friend. I think she'll fit in nice with our group. Throughout lunch a couple people stop by our table and ask me for help on assignments or if I'll consider their stance on the dress code. Sometimes to ask me or the girls out on a date.
"Wow. People are really obsessed with you guys" Penelope says in awe. Trust me girl, I think it's strange too.
"Already stealing the new girl, Josette? You know not everyone wants you..." Alyssa Chang, I hate this bitch. My ex-boyfriend cheated on me with her.
"Nobody asked you last time I checked Alyssa. So why don't you walk away where maybe you can fuck someone else's man?" Lizzie smiles while everyone stares at our table. This always fucking happens, I just didn't want it happening today.
"Was I talking to you? I think not. What's your name new chick?"
"You seem like the kinda girl I stay away from, you don't need my name" Penelope glares at Alyssa making her look pissed as she walks off.
MG shows up and him and Penelope hit it off right away, I'm low-key jealous. I guess she notices how tense I am because all of a sudden she leans in and whispers in my ear, "I'm gay, JoJo."
Why am I so obvious? How could I let her know my feelings for her just in one day of knowing her? This is so fucked, it took my ex-boyfriend two months for me to admit I liked him. TWO MONTHS! Then again he's not Penelope Park. I'm starting to think she's gonna be the one who changes things for me.
Eventually school ends. Penelope's flirting is getting really intense and I don't think I can keep myself from kissing her if I see her one more time today. In gym when all the other girls left the locker room, Penelope Park decided to pin me against the lockers and hover her lips over mine. Then I felt her fingertips run up against my thigh, straight up teasing me. Then she just laughed and said "I knew it." Okay so yes, I have the hots for her. It's very clear.
Hope and I begin our warm up before I instruct my cheerleaders to get into their places and go over our routines. Hope stays next to me as we talk about Penelope. I told her about my little crush and that it's taking everything in me to not strip when I see the hazel eyed girl. She thinks by the end of next week we'll be fucking.
Eventually 8 o'clock strolls around and the football game begins. The crowd goes crazy after the football jocks run out to the field. I'm going to be on my A game tonight.
