Jiyeon pulled up her boots above her socks clad feet, checking her hair in the mirror before looking at the clock which hung at her wall. When a boy from her school, who has been crushing on her for awhile now, asked to meet her at a nearby place,  she guessed what was going to happen. She would have to let him down though.

A decision on which she did not have to ponder upon much, the reason being simple.

Childish flirting, which has started with the soul purpose of annoying a boy has grown into something else. The flirting wasn't a game anymore, the complements were serious, the feelings were genuine.

At some point, Jiyeon did not know when, but Seokjin has started to look like more than just a close friend.

A beam of light flashed at her window, capturing her attention. Peeping down, her eyes gazed at the black car, Seokjin stepping out, the driver taking the car to the side to park it.

"Think of the devil," Jiyeon mumbled with a smile as she picked up a watch, fastening it around her wrist.

"Get your ass ready amiga," Seokjin announced as he barged into the room, stopping to see an already ready to go out Jiyeon, "Oh, you already are ready. Well, let's go then." Seokjin said, gesturing towards the door, digging his hands inside the jacket's pockets.

"What?" Jiyeon asked, confused, "Where are we going?"

"A magic show. Dad got me the tickets," Seokjin said.

"A magic show?"

"Yeah," Seokjin shrugged, "You once said to me that you like to see magic shows so...yeah."

"That was a long while ago." Jiyeon chuckled, "But, aww you remembered," She teased, hiding the slight fluttering of her heart.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Shut up," Seokjin said, embarrassment taking a hold of his facial expression, "Let's go now."

"I am sorry, but I can't go."

"Why, you have a prior commitment?" Seokjin raised his eyebrow.

"Not unless you want me to have one."

Seokjin shook his head, "Bye, then." He said, a hand crumpling the tickets inside the pocket.

"You look good though," Jiyeon commented, walking towards the window to sneak out.

"Stop saying that," Seokjin sighed.

Jiyeon stopped, sitting down on the windowsill, "What?"

"Stop flirting with me. It never meant much when we were young, but it gives off the wrong signal now."

Jiyeon looked down, thinking hard, if that guy can have the courage to confess, so can I, she thought. "What if I told you that I meant it."

"What?" Seokjin asked, taken aback.

"What if I told you that at one point, I started to mean what I said. That it  was no longer a way to annoy you, just my sincere thoughts and feelings. Will you accept them then?"

"You are joking, right?" Seokjin asked, finding it hard to believe what Jiyeon has said, "We both know, it was just a game, from the start."

Jiyeon felt like her world has crashed down in front of her, but somehow managed to not show it.

She swung her legs to the other side of the window, standing up on the grass of the lawn, "One day, I will prove to you, that my feelings are genuine." She said before walking away.

---

"I hope you did not wait for too long," Jiyeon said, walking upto the nervous looking boy.

"No, not at all," The boy replied, looking down and fidgeting with his fingers.

"What was that you wanted to talk about?"

"Uh, yeah," the boy faced her, "I have liked you for a while now, and I was sort of, really hoping that, would you be my girlfriend?"

Jiyeon has completely forgotten what the boy has called her over for. Her mind fogged with the moments of a few minutes ago. It just a game from the start, Seokjin's voice echoed in her head. One day, I will prove to you, that my feelings are genuine, she remembered what she had said. What would Jin be thinking right now? Would he be guilty?  her mind asked causing her to shake the thought off, she has to focus on the boy in front of her.

Broken hearts lead to impulsive decisions. A voice whispered in her mind which she ignored with a small sigh.

"Yes, I would be your girlfriend Hyunshik." She said, ignoring her thoughts, hoping that this impulsive decision would be enough to heal her broken heart.
