A/N: This chapter is fluffier than a baby rabbit.

Virgil squeezed his eyes shut, desperately wanting to stay asleep for the first time in nine years. The warmth pressed to his side and on top of his head was far too comfortable, but the sunlight shining through window onto his face made it impossible to fall back asleep.

So, he opened his eyes and took in the scene of the room. The curtains were open, letting early morning sunlight filter in, directly onto Virgil. The blanket draped over himself was pulled up to his nose, while Roman was leaned against him, head laid on top of his own.

The obnoxious man's hair managed to stay perfect, which appalled Virgil. His own hair had gone back to its natural state, free of the amount of brushing put in every day. The emo happened to have dark chestnut, slightly curly hair, so his bed heads were an absolute atrocity.

Virgil smiled softly and reached a delicate hand up to the hair previously mentioned, running a hand through it. It was soft and a bit thinner than his own, surprisingly extremely clean. Supposedly, Roman enjoyed the touch because he leaned into Virgil's hand in his sleep.

The obnoxious man's eyes fluttered open and he groggily reached a hand up to capture the emo's, who flushed red upon the action. Roman lowered the hand, but continued to hold it. "I must say, this is a good way to wake up Stormcloud."

Virgil's face felt much warmer, but he didn't pull back his hand or flinch away. Roman was extremely warm, especially compared to him. "Uh.. I- I.. You want breakfast?" he stammered awkwardly.

Roman chuckled and paused for a moment, before placing a very light peck on Virgil's knuckles. He worried that it was overstepping boundaries, but the only response he received was a small squeak, and a stronger blush. Roman smiled softly and gingerly let the hand go.

"Sounds good. I'll get the presents and everything from my room, I can also grab your's if you tell me from where."

Virgil cleared his throat and lowered the blanket from his nose, revealing his freckles. Roman continued to smile softly and tilted his head in awe. The emo merely chuckled in response, still not sure why Roman liked them so much.

"Mine are in my closet, on the top shelf. There should be three," he stated, getting up from the couch and stretching. The cold air suddenly hit, but it wasn't horrible due to the black sweatpants and light-grey hoodie he had on.

Roman nodded and stood up, giving a small, dorky salute to imitate Virgil before stalking down the hallway to get the presents. The latter of the two rolled his eyes playfully and strode into the kitchen, pulling ingredients down to make pancakes.

...

Virgil flipped the last pancake expertly, grinning at the sight of how perfect it was. The golden-brown color to it showed it wasn't over or under done.

Roman, who was sat on the counter beside the stove, swung his feet while waiting to be allowed a plate of the disks of deliciousness. Virgil turned off the stove, flicking a bit of the batter still stuck to the spatula at Roman.

The princely man yelped in protest, wiping the batter off the side of his face with a grin. "Hey! What was that for?"

Virgil shrugged in the process of picking up the platter, stacked with pancakes. The two plates in his other hand held forks and maple syrup. "You looked too comfortable."

Roman rolled his eyes and jumped down, following his roommate to the living room, where they placed the food and silverware. A small silence sank in as they collected their breakfast, and then the clinking of forks on plates.

It was a usual reaction to Virgil's cooking, but Roman smiled widely and gulped, amazed at how good it tasted. "I say this a lot, but you really are a talented cook, Stormcloud."

Virgil flushed, freckled cheeks splashed pink. "T-thank you," he murmured quickly, before taking another bite.

It was about ten minutes before the pair finished breakfast and turned on a movie- Lilo and Stitch for the irony. Roman smiled and pulled Virgil with him, right to the floor beneath the Christmas tree.

The emo yelped in surprise, almost falling into the other but regaining his balance and kneeling next to his roommate. "Alright, alright. I get it, you're excited."

Roman bounced a bit, smile extremely wide. "Well, duh! It's Christmas! Presents!" he exclaimed.

Virgil rolled his eyes and grabbed a present from his half of the pile organized pile. It was a light purple with darker purple cats. He didn't have to read the tag to know who it was from. "Alright dork, let's start with Patton's?"

Roman nodded and grabbed a present, dark red with yellow crowns. It seemed that Patton put a lot of thought into the wrapping. Due to how excited he was, the eccentric teen ripped open the packaging quickly, revealing a onesie of the beast from Beauty and the Beast.

Virgil chuckled and set to unwrapping his own, revealing another onesie, but of a skeleton. "I don't know what I was expecting.. but I love it."

Roman nodded, running a hand over the smooth cloth. "I imagine that Logan got one as well."

Virgil's chuckle became a bit more prominent as he imagined the nerd in a onesie. "Probably, but what of?"

The two roommates decided on opening Logan's next. Virgil's was twice as big, while Roman's was a small box (there was a lot of huffing from Roman about this). The wrapping was the same for both, a plain dark blue. It reflected how Logan acted on a daily basis, plain and to the point.

The sound of tearing paper rang throughout the room as the two revealed what they had received. Roman's was a Disney gift card that held seventy dollars, whereas Virgil's was a telescope. "Dang.. how did he even afford this..?" Virgil murmured.

Roman smiled and tipped the card up a bit, looking over the front. He placed it on the coffee table beside him. "Doesn't matter!" he said enthusiastically, as if trying to move to the next topic. "Open mine!"

Virgil eyed Roman warily, but turned and grabbed the wide box beside him. It was fairly heavy, and the wrapping was a glimmering crimson. When he tore away the paper, it revealed another, plain wooden box.

"You trying to give me drugs or something Princey?" he commented suspiciously, flicking up a brass latch on the side.

Roman shook his head, clasping his hands over his lap. "Nope. Now hurry up!"

Virgil rolled his eyes and opened the box, blinking in astonishment. It was filled with paint, pencils, and other art supplies. There was even a sketchbook on the inside of the lid. "How did you know..?"

Roman scooted forward a bit, gesturing to the art supplies. "I've been in your room before, and saw the supplies. I haven't seen your work though."

Virgil looked up and smiled at the person in front of him. "Sets like these are hard to come by, where did you ge-"

"I bought it all separately," Roman said with a grin, as if proud of himself.

Virgil's eyes widened and he glanced back down at the box, realizing how expensive it must have been. Where were his roommates getting this money? Probably their families, well it was most definitely their families. The college they went to wasn't cheap, but Virgil managed to get by by pulling loans and paying back the Bancrofts.

"That- I- Thank you. I love it," he choked out. It felt personal, and he loved the present very much.

Roman nodded and snatched the last present from beneath the tree, a standard box wrapped with dark purple paper. Virgil closed his own case and set it aside. "Mine isn't as good as your's," he murmured shyly.

Roman chuckled and peeled back the wrapping paper. "I've already had one of the best Christmases ever. Just count that date tomorrow as part of the deal," he stated with a wink.

Virgil flushed and stammered over words for a moment, eyes turned to the ceiling or a random place in the room.

Roman finished unwrapping the gift and smiled widely, turning it over repeatedly. There was a stuffed animal on the top, Stitch. Underneath the plush was a Disney vinyl which with all the best hits. "Where'd you get this?"

"Well, I got the Stitch at a Disney store in the mall."Virgil scratched the back of his neck. "As for the vinyl.. "I work at a music store, and saw it on a shelf. I remembered the record player you had in your room when we... yeah."

Roman smiled softly at the emo. The freckles that dusted his cheeks seemed even more prominent with a blush, and he was glad that Virgil wasn't wearing makeup. "Well thank you. I love it. You wanna know what I love more though?"

Virgil already knew it would pertain to him, and slightly panicked that it would be the basic,  'you.' They weren't far enough to say that yet, only a day into a 'relationship.'

Roman saw the panic on Virgil's face, but waved it off. "Your freckles. Like, how can someone look like such a marshmallow?" he cooed.

Virgil turned even more red and covered his face with his hand, only letting out a small grumble. Roman gasped in response. "Noooo- Don't take them away you heathen!"

There was a struggle as Roman grabbed Virgil's wrist and pulled the hand away from his face. The other hand soon followed, and it ended with Roman leaned over the small space between them, holding the emo's wrists firmly. "There, now I get to look at you up close," he murmured softly with a fond tone.

Virgil leaned back a bit, as if trying to hide his face by turning it away. Unfortunately, the proximity didn't allow for that. "Get off of me you dork."

Roman huffed and did a fake pout, before pecking Virgil's cheekbone. "Fine," he mumbled.

Virgil's hand reached up to brush over the spot, eyes wide and cheeks redder than a tomato. "Wh- I- You- Wh-" he stammered for a moment before groaning and pulling the hood on his sweatshirt around his face.

Roman tilted his head and smiled. It was always fun making the other blush, even if it was as easy as tearing a piece of paper. "You're cute when you're flustered."

Virgil groaned and fell forward, head hitting the floor. He stayed like this, moving his mouth trying to form words but unable to. It was in moments like this, he wished he could curl into a ball and implode.

Roman sighed in content and leaned forward, resting on his elbows and watching the scene. It was around five minutes before Virgil poked his head back out of his hood.

As soon as his eyes locked onto his roommates cocky grin, he squeaked and buried himself back in his hood.

"Stormcloud," Roman murmured softly.

Virgil only groaned in protest, refusing to move from his position. "Don't Stormcloud me, Gaston," he huffed.

Roman gasped indignantly. "Ok. That's crossing the line. Plus, Gaston did anything to marry Belle."

Virgil grumbled and finally looked up at Roman, before shooting up and striding towards the hallway. "I'm done."

The princely man let out a chuckle and a dramatic protest. "No! Come back princess!"

A/N: I know this is a short chapter, and I'm sORRy. Also, I'm reading Prinxiety books and seeing stuff similar to what I wrote and feeling bad. Like the football field scene, and all the entire Christmas stuffs.

Stg I'm not copying people, so if the author of those books is reading this, or someone who's read them, I swear I'm not trying to copy your beloved stories.
