~10 years later~
In a large house that was located just down the street from the Dupain-Cheng bakery, lived a family of five. They had been living happily in that house for 3 years and counting.
The family was considered strange and unusual, but they were nonetheless loved by others. Just who is this family? And what makes them so unusual?

~inside the house~
I sighed as I folded the large amount of laundry that was in front of me. Everyone in this house goes through clothes so quickly.
'Is it just me, or is there more laundry every time I clean?' I thought.
'Nope, it's not you. Everyone in this house is so rambunctious, it's no wonder they dirty their clothes so fast.' A voice said. I sighed. 'I guess you're right about that Selene.'
As I continued to fold the laundry, an angry voice called out to me and a young girl entered my room.

"Mom, Roxie stole my favorite shirt!" The girl yelled angrily. "I did not!" Another voice yelled as another little girl ran into the room.
"I didn't take your shirt!" The smaller girl yelled. The older girl turned to her. "Yes you did!" She yelled back.
Marinette sighed and turned to face the two girls. "Girls, please stop yelling. It's not going to help the situation." She scolded.
"But mom!" the older girl said. "No 'buts' Luna. You're fourteen years old now. You should be trying to set a better example for your sisters!" She yelled.
The smaller girl started giggling and Luna and Marinette turned to her. "What's so funny?" Luna asked annoyed.
"You said the word 'butt'." Roxie said giggling behind her hands. Luna rolled her eyes but nonetheless she chuckled with her little sister.
Marinette sighed and shook her head playfully. "I didn't say 'butt', I said 'but'." Marinette explained. But it was no use, it just made her daughter's laugh more. Marinette couldn't help but smile and laugh as well. Even after 10 years, she was still a child at heart.

Luna, Roxie and I laughed for a few more minutes before Adrien entered the room with our other daughter in his arms.
"What are you all laughing at?" He inquired. I chuckled and wiped a tear from my eye. "We're just being immature, that's all." I replied.
Adrien shook his head playfully and walked over to me and gave me a kiss on the lips. "Yucky!" Shouted our youngest daughter Lilly.
We all laughed and I gave Lilly a kiss on the cheek. "By the way, why aren't you dressed yet?" Adrien asked us. "Dressed for what?" I asked.
Adrien rolled his eyes. "Did you forget? Today is Alya and Nino's wedding." He said reminding me.
My eyes widened in shock. I had completely forgotten that the wedding was today. "I have to get ready!" I shouted in a panic, earning laughs from the rest of my family members. "Luna, Roxie, don't laugh, you're not dressed either." I said.
Luna and Roxie immediately ran out the door to go get changed. Adrien and I chuckled and he put Lilly down on our bed. I ran into my walk in closet to get changed into my dress. I was supposed to be a bridesmaid.
"Do you need any help getting changed?" Adrien asked in a flirty voice. "No thanks. We'd never leave if I let you help me." I replied just as flirtatious.
"What does that mean?" Lilly asked, causing me to laugh while Adrien turned pale as a sheet.

~a few minutes later~
Marinette walked out of her closet wearing her bridesmaid dress. She had a frown on her face.
"What's wrong sweetheart?" Adrien asked. Marinette sighed. "This dress is too tight. I'm too fat to wear it." She said sadly.
Adrien chuckled and walked over and hugged Marinette. "You look beautiful Marinette." He said. "You're just saying that." Marinette said pouting.
Adrien shook his head. "No I'm not. You're the most beautiful woman that I've ever met." He said as he placed a hand on Marinette's stomach.
"Besides, you're not fat, you're pregnant." He said earning a small smile from Marinette. "Now let's go, or we'll be late." He said pushing Marinette towards the door.
"Alright, alright, I'm moving. I can walk on my own you know." She said.
~two hours later~
Marinette stood next to Alya at the alter, she was the maid of honor and a bridesmaid. She watched in happiness as Alya and Nino exchanged rings and said their vows.
Adrien himself officiated the ceremony, per the groom's request. "Now, after 10 years of anticipation, I finally pronounce you husband and wife." Adrien said.
Alya and Nino kissed, causing everyone to cheer and Marinette shed a few tears. She was so happy for her best friend.

~at the reception~
People danced and ate food, the party was going strong. It was a beautiful wedding. I danced slowly with Adrien and I had tears in my eyes. "Does this remind you of our wedding at all? Adrien asked me as we spun in a circle.
I looked around at everything. "Yeah, it does. Except I liked ours better." I replied. Adrien arched a brow. "Oh, why is that?" He inquired.
"Because, you were there." I said as I laid my head on his shoulder and smiled.

Adrien chuckled and kissed his wife's head affectionately. "I love you Marinette." He said. "I love you too Adrien." She replied.

After dancing for a little while, Marinette and Adrien sat at a table with Alya and Nino and their 5 year old son Corey. Along Marinette and Adrien's 3 children, Luna, Roxie, and Lilly.
"So dude, your baby's due soon. Feeling scared at all?" Nino asked Adrien. He shook his head. "This is our fourth kid, I think I've become desensitized to birth." He replied, earning a playful slap on the arm from his wife.
Alya and Nino laughed. "I still can't believe that it's been ten years already." She said. "I know, and so much has happened since then." Marinette said and her husband nodded in agreement.

We chatted with Alya and Nino for a few more minutes, enjoying our time with them. "Oh, that reminds me Marinette." Alya said. "What's up?" I asked. "What are you gonna do with Lilly? The full moon is coming up in a couple days." She said.
My eyes widened in realization. "Oh crap, we forgot to ask my parents if they could babysit!" I exclaimed.
Alya chuckled. "I'm getting a sense of deja vu." She said. I chuckled nervously.
"Ten years and you haven't changed a bit." Alya said, causing me to roll my eyes. "We can watch Lilly for you if you want." Nino suggested.
Adrien shook his head. "We couldn't ask that of you. You guys just got married. Enjoy the time to yourselves." He said.
"Nonsense, there's nothing we'd rather do than spend time with our youngest god daughter." Alya said. Finally we relented and agreed to let them watch Lilly.

~1 hour later~
Adrien, Marinette and their kids bid goodbye to Alya and Nino before returning home to put their kids to bed.

That night, as Adrien and I lay in bed, I couldn't help but think back on the past ten years. So much has happened and so much has changed, but I couldn't be happier.
Ten years ago, I moved back to Paris feeling like a monster. I was depressed and I thought that no one could ever love me. I was prepared to live the rest of my life alone, not believing that I'd get a happy ending.
I had lost all hope for the future. But now I have a wonderful husband, three kids with another on the way and a great life.
I used to think that being turned into a werewolf was the worst thing that had ever happened to me. But now after all this time, I've realized that's not the case after all. The full moon used to control me and fill me with a sense of despair, but now it fills me with joy.
Now I have my family by my side and being with them makes me so happy and they give me the strength that I need to face the world. I'm not alone anymore and I never will be again.
Who would have thought that the awful curse that I received all those years ago, would turn out to be my greatest blessing?
I guess it isn't so bad...
... to be cursed by the moon.

This is officially the end of "Cursed by the moon: a Miraculous story".
There will not be a sequel. Now that I have finished this book, I don't plan to ever write a 'Miraculous' fan fiction again.
