A/N: This is her beachwear above! This first scene will take place after the space scene. Enjoy!

"Man, I'm worked," Dustin complained as the seven rangers strolled into Ninja Ops after a long morning of workouts.

"So am I. 10-mile run, two fight simulations, and an obstacle course," Blake listed.

"Don't forget two hours of hard meditation," Hunter reminded him as he pulled off his gloves with his mouth.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I feel great," Sofia exclaimed.

"Your dad must've taught you something, he's, like, a super ranger," Hunter countered.

"You're right! He did teach me something and it's called... training," Sofia told him with the emphasis on the 'training.' Hunter threw a sarcastic grin her way.

"Even you look tired. Training finally getting to you?" Dustin asked the hunched over Red Ranger.

"I'm not getting a lot of sleep. I keep having this weird dream," Shane tiredly wiped his eyes.

"You should pay attention to those. Sensei says your dreams can tell you a lot about yourself," Tori said.

"Speaking of Dad, where is he?" Cam wondered. "Dad?"

"Look," Tori said as she walked around Dustin to Sensei's hut where a small note hung. "Rangers, I have gone on a meditation retreat to reflect on and recharge my inner ninja. In my absence, enjoy a well-deserved day off." Sofia noticed Tori go quiet at the last part and she knew why.

"Aw, yeah," the boys celebrated.

"No way! Is that what it says?" Shane asked as he took the note from Tori.

"Yeah," Tori answered sadly.

"Well, I'm thinking maybe, uh, the track then a movie or... maybe a movie and then the track," Dustin decided. The boys snickered at the earth ninja's indecisiveness. Tori turned around with a forlorn expression on her face.

"Hey, Tor, what's the matter? Come on, don't tell me you can't deal with a day off," Blake teased.

"No, a day off is great, especially tomorrow. I just thought Sensei would be around for... you know," Tori replied.

"What?" Hunter cluelessly asked. Sofia crammed herself between Tori and Dustin and slung an arm around her shoulders.

"Don't worry Tori. If these boys don't figure it out soon then we can have a girl's day out tomorrow, huh?" Sofia assured as she glared at the male rangers. A look of realization appeared on Shane's face.

"Oh, man! Are we stupid? 'Cause tomorrow... it is your birthday," Shane sang.

"Finally, somebody remembers," Sofia grumbled as the boys broke into cheers. Sofia walked next to Blake as Dustin wrapped an arm around Tori.

"How about a beach party?" Dustin suggested. The boys cheered even louder.

"What do you say, Tor?" Blake asked.

"Alright sure. Sounds great to me," Tori agreed.

"Alright, meet at the beach first thing in the morning," Hunter planned. He high-fived Shane. The rangers turned to leave.

"Just make sure you get enough sleep tonight. I think something might be something special after all," Tori ordered Shane.

The next morning:

Cam drove Tori's van to the beach where Blake and Hunter were already waiting. Blake tapped Hunter on the shoulder to let him know that the others had arrived.

"Hey, there's Blake and Hunter," Cam said. The rangers exited the van in their beach attire.

"Whoa, don't you look beautiful, well even more beautiful than normal, if that's even possible," Hunter complimented Sofia. Sofia put her hand on his chest as she walked past him.

"Hunter Bradley, flattery alone won't get you very far in life," Sofia teased.

"Has anybody seen Shane?" Tori wondered.

"Yeah, let's get this show on the road," Blake said.

"Hey, we can't leave without him! He's bringing the cake," Dustin announced.

"Guys!" Shane's voice called out. They turned to see him running with a box in his arms.

"Here, Tori, Happy Birthday," Shane congratulated as he handed the blue ranger her cake.

"Hey, that doesn't look like beachwear, bro," Hunter commented as he took the cake box.

"Uh, yeah, about that..." Shane hesitated.

"Don't tell me you're bailing," Tori lectured.

"Okay, look, I had that same dream again last night. I think it's trying to tell me something," Shane whispered.

"Like, how to ruin your friend's birthday?" Tori interrogated.

"It's just I have a weird sense something isn't right. I gotta go check out the woods," Shane defended.

"Shane, I'm the first person to say duty before pleasure, but I left Cyber Cam online at Ninja Ops. If anything weird shows up, he'll let us know," Cam said.

"Yeah," Tori agreed.

"I'll catch up, okay? I promise," Shane promised.

"Alright! But you better!" Tori shouted.

Dustin threw a beach ball that hit the back of Tori's head. Tori scoffed and turned around with a playfully murderous glint in her blue eyes as she grabbed the beach ball and kicked it at the running boys.

After the forest and space scenes:

"You guys, maybe we should have gone with Shane," Tori suggested.

"What, because he had a nightmare," Hunter declined as he pulled off his shirt.

"I don't know. Maybe she's right. I mean he did seem pretty tweaked," Dustin agreed with Tori.

"Aw, come on, you guys. We're here now. It's a party, right?" Blake announced.

"Yeah," Dustin and Hunter cheered. Hunter came up behind Tori and Sofia.

"Last one in the water's a little girl," Hunter challenged. Tori and Sofia turned to glare at the handsome, yet bold, Crimson Ranger.

"Uh, oh," Blake jeered.

"You are so gonna pay for that," Tori threatened.

"Never call me a little girl," Sofia growled at the same time. Hunter gulped nervously and ran towards the ocean. Tori and Sofia ran after him while the others laughed.

Due to her smaller and leaner frame, Sofia ran ahead and tackled her boyfriend into the water. "That's what you get for underestimating us girls," Sofia teased as he brought his head back up for air.

"I think he learned his lesson," Tori claimed.

"I surrender. I surrender," Hunter begged.

"Oh, alright," Sofia playfully groaned. She got off his back and let him stand before splashing him. Hunter retaliated by splashing back. Soon, the trio engaged in a splashing contest.

"Let's get back before the others start to hoot and holler," Tori suggested. They waded out of the ocean and back to where they had put their stuff.

After the forest scenes:

"Hey, party animals!" Cyber Cam called. "I think we have a problem. We've got an alien visitor in the forest and here's a newsworthy item... he's not working for Lothor."

"Can you reach Shane?" Cam asked through his amulet. The other rangers stopped what they were doing to look at the samurai.

"No can do. Whatever that spaceship is, it's interfering with Shane's morpher," Cyber Cam responded.

"Well, keep trying. I'm on my way," Cam said.

"You're going back?" Tori asked sadly.

"Only until I figure out what's going on," Cam told her. "With Dad out of town, I just feel better checking things out myself."

"We're coming with you," Hunter said.

"No, stay," Cam protested. "There's nothing we can do until we know what we're dealing with." Cam left the party.

"Maybe, it's a good alien. I mean, nobody ever considers that possibility," Dustin commented. Sofia rolled her eyes at this comment.

"Hey, don't let this get you down, okay? Come on, we can still have fun," Blake placed the swan floaty on Tori's head.

"Yeah," Hunter cheered.

"You're right. I guess the day is not completely ruined," Tori conceded.

"That's the spirit! Now, who wants to see some birthday magic," Sofia suggested.

"Sofia, we're in public! No ninja tricks," Hunter lectured. Sofia turned to glare at him. "Ouch!" he winced as she ripped a piece of his hair out.

"I never said anything about ninja tricks, now did I?" Sofia countered. She tore a lock of her own hair and twisted her hands that held the strands of hair until they magically transformed into a light blue heart-shaped pillow. "See? Magic! Here, Blake, give it to her."

She gave the pillow to the navy ranger who nervously handed it to Tori. "Happy Birthday, Tor!"

"Aww, thanks, even though Sofia conjured it, it's the thought that counts," Tori gushed.

Blake nervously scratched the back of his neck while the others snickered behind him.

After the space and forest scenes

"We've got a problem, as long as that ship remains cloaked," Cam began. "I've no way to track it," Cyber Cam interrupted.

"Any word from Shane?" Hunter asked. Cam shook his head.

"His frequency is still jammed." Cyber Cam butted in again. "He must be close to the source of the disturbance." Cam got annoyed at the interruptions and pressed the button to make his clone disappear.

"Let us know if anything changes," Hunter ordered. He hung up as the girls walked up to him.

"Birthday or not, I think we better get back," Tori said.

"Yeah, let's get outta here before some Kelzaks show up," Dustin agreed.

"Aw, you had to say it, didn't you?" Blake pointed to where the henchmen were doing some weird conga line.

"Impeccable timing, as always," Sofia rolled her eyes.

"Let's check it out," Hunter said. They jogged to where they saw the Kelzaks disappear.

"Chairs, tables, here," Kapri bossed.

"Okay, so this could work," Marah celebrated.

"Oh, dead flowers over there," she told a Kelzak. "Uh, the banquet table... probably over there. And we need dry ice."

"Tcha, You know, this party might not be a total disaster after all," Kapri cheered. The sisters high-fived.

"Hey, if an alien freak throws a party and nobody shows up, is it still a party?" Blake joked.

The aliens turned to see Tori, Sofia, Hunter, Blake, and Dustin standing on a rock formation. The boys stood casually while Tori had her hands on her hips and Sofia folded hers across her chest.

"Aw, man, I hate it when they do that," Kapri whined. "Hey, come on!"

"Yeah, I know, wait. I'm just thinking about it. If an alien freak throws a party..." Marah muttered.

"Would you come on?" Kapri yelled. "Hey, Kelzaks!" the minions attacked.

The rangers leaped off the rock formation and began fighting back. Tori pushed one Kelzaks into Marah and Kapri with a pot of dead flowers. "Watch the flowers," the sisters screamed.

Sofia grabbed an umbrella and used it as a sword to fend off the Kelzaks as they seemed to swarm around her for no reason.

"Guys, we've got a problem. Zurgane's taking a new zord for a test drive and I can't access the Thunder Zords' portals," Cam informed.

"Hey, Tor... you up for a two-way?" Dustin asked.

"Oh, yeah! No one ruins my birthday," Tori growled.

"We'll take care of this mess," Hunter assured.

"Ready?" Dustin asked.

"Ready," Tori replied.

"Ninja Storm,"

"Thunderstorm,"

"Ranger form,"

"Let's go," Tori said once they morphed.

"I'll be right there," Sofia shouted over the Kelzaks.

"What are you doing?" Hunter shouted back.

"Okay! I'm done with this!" Sofia growled. "Blizzard Storm! Ranger form!" she morphed in a funnel of ice that wiped out the Kelzaks surrounding her. "I'm going to help Tori and Dustin."

She streaked off after summoning the leopard zord with her dagger flute.

With the zords:

The trio formed the Storm and Blizzard Megazords to fight Zurgane's zord.

"You're toast," Tori wagged her finger at him.

"Oh, yeah," Dustin laughed.

"Bye-bye," Sofia taunted.

"Lasers, fire," Zurgane laughed. His zord's antlers glowed red before emitting a large bolt of red lightning at the two Megazords.

"Time to light my fire," Dustin called. "Lightning mode... now!" The Storm Megazord became a humanoid figure. It threw its signature jump sidekick at Zurgane's zord, but he blocked the foot and flipped the Megazord back.

"Impressive, but you're not the only one with a lightning mode at your disposal," Zurgane activated the lightning mode on his zord and it transformed into a humanoid figure as well. "Cower Rangers!"

"That's P for Power rangers," Dustin snapped. "He's got a lightning mode!" Tori pointed out.

"And I know how to use it," Zurgane announced.

"Oh, yeah!" Sofia countered. "Try to stop this!" She launched a Blizzard Fury attack that Zurgane's zord absorbed. "He absorbed it! Impossible!"

"Possible," Zurgane cackled. He thrust the energy back at her, causing sparks to fly from the control panel.

Zurgane and the Storm Megazord threw the same punch in mid-air. Zurgane landed, while the Storm Megazord fell to the ground, throwing Tori and Dustin around in the process.

The Thunders:

Hunter and Blake were occupied with finishing off the Kelzaks. Blake threw one into a chair on a yoga ball prompting it to sit down and bounce. Blake defeated the other Kelzaks before returning to the bouncing one. "Having fun yet?" he asked as he mockingly crossed his arms. "Not for long!" he punched the Kelzak which caused it to fall backward.

"Hello! Losers!," the sisters whined.

"Does this mean we have to find a new spot for our reunion?" Marah asked.

"Ugh, yeah," Kapri answered in a whiny tone. The sisters vanished.

"They bailed," Blake groaned.

"Power down," Hunter ordered. The brothers demorphed and looked around. Hunter bent down to pick up a discarded flower.

"Sensei picked a bad day to take off," Blake commented.

"Let's get back to Ops, see if the others are okay," Hunter told him.

"Right," Blake agreed.

The zord battle:

Cam flew in on his helicopter making Zurgane turn his zord's head upward as he stood over the fallen Storm and Blizzard Megazords. Cam converted the zord into the Samurai Storm Megazord. "You got room for one more?"

"Yeah," Dustin cheered.

Zurgane streaked his zord through the air and brought the flying Megazord to the concrete, har. Cam was thrown around in the cockpit. The Storm and Blizzard Megazords sunk into fighting stances, but Zurgane maneuvered his zord so that it would streak through each Megazord multiple times.

Man, he's brutal," Dustin groaned as their Megazords fell to the ground.

"Your number is up... Power Rangers," Zurgane growled. His zord launched blue ribbons of electricity that shocked the two Megazords. The three rangers were sent flying to the ground as their Megazords were damaged. Zurgane's Megazord stomped towards them and looked down... right at the rangers.

"Time to finish the job! Goodbye, rangers," Zurgane cackled. His zord prepared to strike them before Cam's zord knocked it out of the way.

"Guys! Back to Ops!" Cam called as his Megazord disappeared in a ball of fire.

"Ready?" Dustin asked.

"Yeah," the girls replied.

"Let's go!" the three rangers streaked off towards their base.

"You can run, Power Rangers, but you can't hide," Zurgane laughed.

Ninja Ops:

"The Storm, Blizzard, and Samurai Star Megazords are badly damaged. It'll take hours, maybe days, to make the repairs," Cam explained to Hunter as the rangers entered their base.

"What about the Thunder Zords?" Hunter asked.

"No luck accessing them yet," Cam responded.

"Someday off," Blake commented.

"This must be the worst birthday, ever," Dustin pointed out.

"I can't even think about that right now. I just have this really bad feeling that Shane is in trouble," Tori replied.

"You're not the only one," Sofia grumbled. She froze up as visions of the future hit her. The visions included:

Shane holding a woman as she faded into a light being and disappeared, The Red Ranger fighting a creepy shark monster, Red Ranger flying high above them with some sort of winged armor.

"Sofia? Your eyes are silver!" Hunter shook her. She unfroze and her eyes became blue again.

"Ugh, what happened?" Sofia asked.

"You totally zoned out," Dustin informed.

"I'm fine," Sofia assured. She fixed them with a glare that made them believe her.

"Okay, whatever you say," Hunter said.

They were completely unaware of the goings-on in the forest with Shane and Skyla.

And on to part 2:

"Let me go! The power's not meant for you," Skyla told Vexacus.

"Oh, it will be mine. Make no mistake. And once I have the power, I will rule this world and all others," Vexacus cackled. He dragged the unwilling Skyla to his ship, unaware that Shane was following close behind.

After the space scene:

"Maybe now would be a good time to contact Sensei," Hunter suggested.

"I've tried already. Whatever's interfering with Shane's morpher is keeping us from reaching my dad, too," Cam replied. Hunter straightened up and folded his arms across his chest.

"Hey, I'm sorry your birthday got messed up," Dustin apologized.

"I know. It's nobody's fault. Except, maybe Lothor's," Tori replied.

"Maybe we should go get our stuff from the beach," Dustin suggested.

"Yeah, our day off is pretty much over now," Blake agreed.

"We'll be back, Cam," Hunter said.

"I'll call if anything else happens," Cam told them.

"Later," Tori patted him on the shoulder. Hunter noticed Sofia lagging behind, so he slowed down to her pace.

"Are you okay?" he asked. Hunter wrapped a strong arm around her shoulders. "You look worried and sick, literally."

"I'm going to tell you something, but please don't tell the other rangers. I don't want them to ask questions," Sofia replied. When Hunter nodded, she continued. "Lately, I've been seeing the future. That's why my eyes were silver and why I look so sickly. Sensei said that I may have other powers waiting to be unveiled, so this may be one of them."

Hunter was stunned into silence at his girlfriend's words. "W-when did this start?" he asked.

"Last week when we were visiting Perry in his creepy lab, right before you were captured," Sofia replied. She averted her gaze to her shoes as Hunter's face became stone-cold.

"So, you lied to me, to all of us! I thought you trusted me!" he exclaimed angrily.

"I never lied! You didn't believe me when I told you! I did trust you, but now I'm starting to doubt if you ever loved me, let alone trusted me!" Sofia yelled, angry tears burned her eyes as she ripped herself from his embrace and ran to Tori.

"Oh, no, what have I done?" Hunter muttered in horror.

The beach:

"Check out that swell. I haven't seen waves like this for weeks," Tori announced as they walked along the shoreline. Sofia was standing between Tori and Dustin so that she could have somebody between her and Hunter.

"I know what you mean. I was really looking forward to some downtime," Hunter agreed.

"Yeah, of course, you were. For what? To accuse me some more?" Sofia growled at him. Hunter shrunk back in fear.

"What happened? You two were fine when we left Ninja Ops," Tori wondered.

"Nothing, just Mr. Impulsive over here being a total jerk," Sofia responded. Hunter rolled his eyes at her comment.

"Whoa, whoa, I don't want to sound paranoid here, but, uh, wasn't this where we left all of our stuff?" Blake inquired. The five rangers stopped and looked around.

"Yeah," Tori answered.

"Oh, man, I can't believe out gear got jacked," Dustin complained.

"No, no, wait, wait. Maybe our stuff got washed out with the tide or something," Blake suggested.

"The tide hasn't come in yet," Tori countered.

"She's right," Sofia agreed.

"So, where is it then?" Hunter asked.

"Hey! Look!" Dustin pointed at the Kelzaks who were carrying all of their beach supplies.

"That is the last straw! Nobody steals my birthday cake," Tori exclaimed. "Come on."

The rangers ran to where the Kelzaks had slinked around a rock formation.

"Huh?" they asked when they got to the other side. They saw the Kelzaks wearing their stuff.

"No way!" Hunter exclaimed.

"This is wrong on so many levels," Dustin commented.

"Tori, promise me you'll never wear that bikini ever again," Blake groaned as he stared at a Kelzak trying on Tori's bathing suit.

"No problem," Tori promised.

Hunter stepped forward in a demanding stance. "Give us back our stuff!"

Sofia looked down at the ground. She had never heard Hunter speak in such a demanding voice before. I think I should forgive him... not I think, I know I should forgive him!

"Make me," Choobo mocked. The aliens continued walking away with their stuff.

"Okay," Dustin chuckled. The Rangers attacked the Kelzaks.

Hunter used a mat as his weapon, Tori fell on the back of a Kelzak before standing and letting other Kelzaks dogpile that one, Blake leaped over a Kelzak that was pulling down the bikini pants before split kicking the two Kelzaks that were behind him, Sofia used a streamer as a whip, and Dustin was playing keep-away with the cake before accidentally smashing it right in Choobo's face after being pushed by a Kelzak.

"Why do I always take it in the face?" Choobo complained. "Retreat." The aliens disappeared.

The rangers gathered their things and walked back on to the main beach.

"We kind of killed your cake," Hunter said apologetically.

"Let's just get back to Ninja Ops before anything else goes wrong," Tori sighed. She noticed Dustin putting something on his arms. "What's that... sunblock?"

"Just the opposite. Cyber Cam gave me this new sunless tanning lotion," Dustin replied.

"Sure you wanna use that much?" Tori asked.

"Oh, yeah, I'm gonna be a bronze god," Dustin bellowed excitedly.

"Hunter, can we talk?" Sofia wondered shyly.

"Sure," Hunter sighed.

"Hunter, my love, I'm sorry for blowing up at you. I should have understood your feelings about my power and I hope you can forgive me. And I do trust you," Sofia confessed.

"I forgive you! Sofia, I'm sorry for accusing you of lying. I can be impulsive and I know that you were trying to be truthful with me! You were wrong about one thing, though," Hunter replied.

"What's that?" Sofia asked.

"I do love you, always have and always will," Hunter admitted.

"I love you, too! If we weren't holding this stuff, I'd hug you," Sofia replied.

The young couple smiled at one another and followed the other rangers to Ninja Ops.

The forest:

Shane helped a dying Skyla through the thick underbrush.

"So it's true what Vexacus said. You don't have much time," Shane said.

"Carmaninans change all the time. Instead of dying, we pass from one life form to the next," Skyla explained.

"Whoa. Now, that's heavy," Shane commented.

"I guess for you it probably seems like it, but we're taught at birth that we pass on this life's energy when it's time," Skyla replied.

"I can't believe out of everyone in the whole universe, you chose me," Shane admitted.

"I didn't! You're my destiny. And I am yours," Skyla told him.

"What do you mean?" Shane asked, confused.

"Well, ever since you were little and you saved me from Vexacus, I knew you were the one," Skyla responded.

"It always seemed like just a dream," Shane confessed.

"Sometimes, we choose to forget what we can't understand," Skyla informed.

"Then I'm seriously going to forget this whole conversation," Shane joked. Skyla tilted her head at him because she didn't get the joke. "You sure I'm the one?"

"Only a person of the highest character can handle the power. The red ranger thing is a plus, though," Skyla answered. She felt her life energy waning away as she collapsed into Shane's arms. Shane caught her and laid her down on his lap.

"Skyla? Skyla?" Shane asked in concern as her coughing and wheezing finally subsided and she fell limp.

"It's time. We will be linked together forever... by the power I pass on to you. The responsibility is yours. Use it wisely," Skyla used the remnants of her energy to form a light ball in her hand before turning to look at the red ranger's sad face one final time. "Goodbye, Shane." And with that, she fell limp and transformed into a phoenix, the fiery bird flapped its wings and a small light illuminated Shane's morpher until it transformed into a larger version before shrinking back.

"Goodbye, Skyla," he whispered as he watched her spirit float into heaven.

After the space scene:

Shane slouched out of the forest with a mournful look on his face. He stopped when Vexacus appeared.

"That was very touching," he mocked. "But if I can't get the power from her, I'll get it from you."

"This one's for Skyla," Shane growled. "Ninja Storm, Ranger Form!" Shane morphed and removed his sword from its sheath. Vexacus did the same. "You're chum, chump."

"Prepare to be destroyed," Vexacus growled. The shark monster and the red ranger engaged in a duel.

The city:

Zurgane's zord stomped through the city. "This ought to draw them out!"

"Look who's back," Cam called. The rangers flocked around the computer.

"Is the Megazord fixed?" Tori asked.

"Of course. I am the brains of the operation, remember?" Cam retorted.

"You don't need to boast about it," Sofia grumbled.

"What about the Thunder Zords?" Hunter asked.

"The energy field in the forest is weakening. I should be able to call them any second," Cam replied.

"We'll meet you out there," Hunter assured them.

"Hopefully, I'll be able to get a lock on Shane, too," Cam promised.

"We'll take it for now," Tori said. She looked at Sofia and Dustin who nodded and followed her to the main area.

"You ready... bronze god?" Tori teased as they noticed Dustin's brown face. Sofia snickered at that comment. "Ninja Storm!"

"Blizzard Storm!"

"Ranger form!"

They morphed and formed the Blizzard and Storm Megazords. Zurgane's zord turned to face them. "Guess you're ready for round two!"

"It's on," Dustin laughed.

"Oh, yeah," the girls agreed.

The Megazords charged at the evil zord.

The forest:

Shane pulled Vexacus' sword to the ground and stepped on it. He slashed down, but the shark monster easily blocked it with one arm.

"Is that all you got?" Shane asked.

"Not even close," Vexacus replied. He pulled his sword out from under Shane's foot and Shane fell on his back. He stood back up as Vexacus tried to bring his sword upon him. Vexacus fired lasers from his blade that knocked Shane to the ground.

The zords:

Zurgane's zord's antlers illuminated and fired a huge lightning bolt at the two Megazords. The Megazords fell over some rocks, sending sparks flying from the dashboards.

"I got it. Thunder Megazord is online," Cam informed.

"Let's go," Hunter said.

"Yo, Diggity," Blake agreed.

"Thunderstorm, ranger form!"

They morphed in flashes of crimson and navy light.

Zurgane prepared to strike the Megazords when a clawed arm blocked the attack and kicked his zord away. It was the Thunder Megazord!

"Welcome to the party," Dustin greeted.

"Yeah, thanks," Blake replied in a sarcastic tone.

"Lightning mode, online," Zurgane pressed a button that activated his zord's humanoid form.

"Let's do it, guys! Come on," Tori called.

"Yeah," the brothers agreed.

"Inserting power disk... locked and dropped," Dustin announced. The Storm Megazord released a gold power sphere. Zurgane's zord stole it from them before it opened.

"So easy," he laughed.

The forest:

Vexacus twisted Shane's arm back and kneed him in the stomach causing him to keel over. Vexacus then twisted Shane's arm to make him let go of his sword, but Shane grabbed it with his left arm before it dropped. He slashed at the shark general, but Vexacus flipped over it to dodge the attack. He landed behind the red ranger and slashed down his back, Shane rolled down the hill in pain.

The zord battle:

Cam flew in and formed the Samurai Star Megazord. "Hey, Zurgane! This disk's for you! Locked and dropped!" The power sphere released some sort of grabber that snatched the power sphere from the zord's arms. He then used the re-captured power sphere as a whip.

With Shane:

Shane was thrown through the air and landed on his back.

"Face it, boy. You're outmatched," Vexacus growled. He ran his hand down the blade, allowing the metal to be engulfed in blue energy.

"I'm still standing," Shane protested. Vexacus fired powerful lasers from his sword that flipped Shane to the ground.

"You know what to do, Shane! Trust yourself," Skyla's voice echoed through his head as flashbacks of their brief time together flashed through his mind. Shane stood and replaced his sword into the sheath on his back. "I will not fail! Battlizer mode, engage!" Gold and red armor molded around his body. "Power up!"

Vexacus attempted the same sword blast, but Shane grabbed the energy in his fist and thrust it behind him. Shane flew in the air and did a series of front flips over Vexacus' head, landing behind him. He punched the monster, throwing him into the air before leaping after him. Shane grabbed Vexacus by the collar and placed him on his feet. The red ranger dodged every attack that the shark monster threw at him. He grabbed the monster's blade and threw it into a tree behind him. He blocked a backhand and tossed Vexacus high into the air with a powerful punch to his back. Shane jumped up and double kicked the monster, sending him flying into a tree.

The zord battle:

The Thunder and Storm Megazords switched places as the Blizzard and Samurai Star Megazords stood across from them.

"Alright, guys! Put 'em together," Cam called. Sofia allowed her Megazord head nod in agreement.

"With ya! Locked and dropped," Hunter inserted the power disk into the sphere drive and twisted the handle. They summoned the Mini-Zord and formed the Thunderstorm Megazord.

Zurgane's zord thrust lightning bolts at the larger Megazord, the Thunderstorm Megazord was unfazed by the blasts. "This does not look good." His zord leaped, but to no avail, as the larger Megazord intercepted the jump by throwing punch after punch while Zurgane and his zord were suspended in mid-air.

"Fire!" all the rangers called. The blasters all fired in unison, destroying the zord at long last. Although, there was no doubt in the rangers' minds that Zurgane had ejected.

"Oh, yeah," Tori cheered.

"No problemo," Dustin added.

"See ya', Zurgane," Hunter continued.

"Chalk 'em up," Blake resumed.

"That's a wrap," Cam added.

"No more metal mouth," Sofia continued.

The forest:

Vexacus limped back to his ship while Shane was chasing after him.

"Where are you going?" Shane demanded. Vexacus streaked into his ship. "Stop!"

"No more games," Vexacus growled as he fired up the engines and took off for space.

"Whoa!" Shane exclaimed as Vexacus soared above his head. "Battlizer, flight mode!" A pair of metallic wings attached themselves to Shane's back and on his arms were a battle shield and blade.

"Catch me if you can," Vexacus taunted. "What?" he panicked as he saw the red ranger flying next to him. "Firing lasers." The laser cannons emerged from the roof of his ship.

"Battle Block!" Shane blocked the blasts with his shield.

"Fine! More power!" Vexacus pressed a button and purple orbs were released from the bottom hatch of the ship.

"Lasers!" Shane commanded. Red and yellow swirling lasers fired from Shane's armored shoulders. He soared after the shark beast. The rangers on the ground watched as he soared over their heads. They let out a cacophony of cheers.

"Come on! Surrender," Shane ordered.

"Never!" Vexacus protested.

Shane dodged more laser blasts and launched some of his own. The inside of Vexacus' ship sparked. "Ahh! Oh, no!" Shane slashed the underside of his ship as it flew past him, causing more sparks to fly. "I'm losing power!"

"It's over, Vexacus," Shane growled.

"This isn't over," Vexacus denied.

"It is now!" Shane shot back. His wings glowed a fiery orange color as he prepared to deliver his final attack. "Ultra laser! Fire!" An enormous surge of orange and red energy blasted Vexacus' ship, sending him up in flames.

"Oh wow!" Tori exclaimed.

"Awesome!" Blake agreed.

Shane landed in front of his friends with a hiss of hydraulics and puffs of steam. The rangers immediately began gushing over his new armor, saying that it was 'cool', 'amazing', and 'incredible' and jumble of other praises. Shane glanced up to the heavens as if silently thanking Skyla for his new gift.

After the space scene

"Hey, you alright?" Blake asked as the rangers, bar Dustin and Cam, walked into Ninja Ops.

"Yeah, I feel kinda bummed," Shane replied.

"You miss her, don't you?" Tori asked.

"Yeah, I guess I do," Shane admitted.

"Shane, I really admire how you put yourself out there to save a woman, an alien, that you had just met! You are definitely worthy of wearing the color red for your bravery and courageous actions," Sofia praised as she patted the red ranger on his shoulder.

"Thanks, Sofia, that really means a lot to me, it's just a shame that she isn't with us anymore," Shane responded.

"She will always be with you, Shane. Her power lives through you for all eternity," Sensei assured.

"Thanks, Sensei," Shane thanked him.

"Yeah, but can we talk about the battlizer? How sick, bro," Hunter commented. Sofia gently slapped him on the chest.

"Seriously, that's your only comment!" she scolded. Hunter cracked a small smirk at her scold, knowing that she was only kidding about being mad.

"Yeah, now that was the ultimate rush or what, man?" Blake laughed.

"Yeah, it's pretty sick, huh?" Shane asked, finally cheering up.

"You all did well in my absence! I am proud," Sensei praised.

"Pity it had to happen on someone's birthday," Hunter apologized as he patted Tori on the back.

"Hey, no worries. There'll be more, right?" Tori accepted with a cheerful smile.

"Optimistic as ever," Sofia teased as she gave her best girlfriend an apologetic hug before squeezing in between Hunter and Shane.

"Hey, the day's not over yet," Dustin exclaimed. They turned to see the yellow ranger holding a cake with 18 ignited candles.

"Ha, hey!" Shane greeted.

"Well, well, if it isn't the orange ranger," Tori laughed.

"Haha, yeah, Cyber Cam's gonna be cyber toast next time I see him," Dustin replied as Cam appeared behind him. "Make a wish!"

Tori shook her head and blew out all of the candles. The rangers hooted and hollered as they wrapped their arms around each other and wished her a happy birthday.

A/N: That's the end! I want to make a quick shoutout to @fairywings1029 for the correction in Chapter 2! I feel so silly for even writing that! Thank you so much! Anyways, the next chapter will be both parts of "Shimazu Returns!" Stay tuned!
