"Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity?", Loki asked walking towards Tony as his armour was taken off by his own machinery. Tony smirked, "Actually, I'm planning to threaten you". Loki chuckled, "You should have left your armour on for that". "Yeah, it's seen a bit of mileage, and you've got the glow stick of destiny", Tony responded gesturing to Loki's sceptre. Tony saw some orange juice and smiled, "Would you like a drink?", Tony asked going towards the bar to take the orange juice into a glass. "Stalling me won't change anything", Loki said ignoring Tony's question.
"No, no, no. Threatening", Tony said back as he was about to pour himself a glass of orange juice. "No drink..? You sure?...I'm havin' one", Tony asked. Loki looked down and then back up at Tony. "The Chitauri are coming. Nothing will change", Loki said looking out the balcony window of Stark Tower. "What have I to fear?", Loki asked. "The Avengers", Tony responded, pouring some juice into a tall glass. He rolled his eyes as Loki looked at him intrigued, making him go on. "That's what we call ourselves, we're sort of like a team", Tony continued as he watched Loki stand there listening. "Earth's mightiest heroes, type of thing", Tony said talking about the Avengers. Loki nodded, "Yes, I've met them". Tony smiled as he responded, "Yeah, it takes us time to get any traction, I'll give you that one".
"But let's do a headcount here", Tony asked. "Your brother, the demigod. A super-soldier, a living legend, who lives to the legend basically", Tony spoke as he placed two wristbands on. He continued, "A man with breathing-taking anger-managing issues, a couple of master assassins, and you...big fella", Tony said pointing at Loki who was just standing there holding onto the butt of the spectre angrily but he let Tony continue. "You managed to piss off every single one of them".
Loki walked back and forth as he spoke, "That was the plan". Tony took a sip out of his orange juice, "Not a great plan when they come, and they will, they'll come for you", Tony said. "I have an army", Loki said back. "We have a hulk", Tony said back. "I thought the beast had wandered off", Loki asked confused. "You're missing the point, there is no throne. There is no version of this where you come out on top. Maybe your army comes, and maybe it's too much for us, but it's all on you. Because if we can't protect the Earth, you can be damn well sure we'll avenge it", Tony said as he took another sip of his orange juice.
Loki started walking slowly towards him, "How will your friends have time for me when they're so busy fighting you". Loki said as he placed the spectre onto Tony's chest, earning a clank like noise. He did it again and nothing happened. Tony's arc reactor made this hard. "This...usually works", Loki said confused. " Well, performance issues. it's not uncommon, one out of fiv-", Tony said just before Loki grabbed him by the neck. "J.A.R.V.I.S.!, deploy", Tony said indicating his new prototype suit. "You will all kneel before me", Loki snarled as he grabbed Tony again and threw him out the window.
Tony fell down, reaching closer to the ground. Pieces of the new armour followed closely. As the pieces placed themselves onto Tony's body, he smirked. He flew up, looking down at Loki, "And, there's one more person you pissed off", Tony added. "Me", he implied angrily.
