LUCIUS MALFOY
sat in his cell, his back against the cold and humid wall. There was no light in Azkaban, and by light he meant not only the sun light but his wife and children. Lucius' life hasn't been fully lighted since his daughter was taken. The void it placed on the young family they once were.
He became more reserved when it came to his feelings, he avoided to show any warm emotions towards anyone except to his wife. His lovely wife who became very ill after Celeste was taken. Narcissa didn't sleep for four days when the kidnapping happened and it took several months for her to fully sleep at all without waking up every twenty minutes, screaming and crying after their little girl. Lucius tried his best to be there for Narcissa, and he did an excellent job. So excellent that in the progress he forgot to take care of himself, leading to not wanting to talk about Celeste.
Lucius cursed himself in his head, how he had treated Narcissa on that one day when he found her in Celeste's room. He should had let her be there and grief but the stress that the Dark Lord's return had put him under took the win on that day. Naturally he did apologized and then they cried after their princess for the rest of the day.

"Papa!" A four years old Celeste called for her father as she ran to his study. The girl opened the big door that let to the room where her father was.
Lucius heard the door cracking open. He turned around to see who was coming in and for his delight it was his darling girl. "Hello princess," he smiled and gladly took the running girl in his arms. "How are you?" He asked and gently tickled Celeste.
Celest giggled. "I'm good," she said between her giggles.
"Perfect," Lucius said and kissed the top of Celeste's head but noticed that there was something bothering the girl. "Celeste is everything okay?" He asked with a hint of concern in his voice.
Celeste nodded but Lucius wasn't buying it. He turned the girl on his lap to face him. "Celeste," Lucius sighed and stroked her hair gently. "You do know that you can come to me abut anything, right?"
"I know papa," Celeste said biting her lip.
"Good, so could you tell me what's wrong?" Lucius asked again, his tone soft and even.
Celeste lifted her chin so she could see her father's grey eyes which were filled with warmth and love. "I don't know how to braid my hair," Celeste pouted. "Mama always braids my hair but she's visiting grandmother, and I want my hair braided."
Lucius shook his head amusingly and smiled. "Mama hasn't taught you how to braid your hair?"
"Noup because she wants to braid it but now that she isn't home, I don't know who can."
"Well then it is a good thing that I know," Lucius said and pulled the ribbon that was keeping his hair in a low ponytail. "May I?" He asked and pointed at Celeste's hair.
The little girl nodded her head eagerly, her eyes beaming with happiness and gratitude.

Narcissa sat on the train to Azkaban, to visit her husband. She was very nervous, she has visited Lucius in Azkaban but none of those times has she been able to tell her husband that their daughter is back. She played with the rings in her fingers as she kept thinking about what to say to Lucius. After few hours the train finally arrived to Azkaban. She got off the train and chills started to travel across her spine as the Dementors flew across the air.
The Ward guided Narcissa to Lucius' cell. He opened the cell's door and shoved Narcissa in. Narcissa walked over to the chair which was in the middle of Lucius' cold, damp, dark cell. She looked around to find her husband but there was only darkness. She narrowed her eyes to get a better look.
"Lucius," Narcissa said when she finally noticed her husband's shadow against the wall, "Lucius."
Lucius carefully got up from the corner of the cell. His knees wobbled when he got up, he felt so tired and powerless. He slowly dragged himself towards his wife, the shackles clattering against the stone floor.
"Cissa," Lucius breathed when he got close enough to see her.
Narcissa threw her arms around Lucius carefully, not wanting to hurt or scare him. Lucius gently wrapped his arms around his wife's waist and buried his face to his wife's blonde and dark locks. Narcissa buried her face to his husband's chest and the cries she had held since finding out about Celeste, echoed in the air more powerfully than ever.
"Cissa my love," Lucius whispered to Narcissa's ear. "Is everything all right?" He asked worrying.
Narcissa took a step back and broke their embrace. She looked into Lucius' grey eyes and nodded. "S-she's home," was all Narcissa was able to say before falling on her knees.
Lucius quickly kneeled besides his wife and cupped her face to his palms. "W-what are you talking about?" He asked and wiped some of Narcissa's tears from her pale face.
"C-Celeste," Narcissa chocked the name from her throat.
"Celeste?" Lucius questioned. "What do you mean---" was all he was able to say before realizing what his wife meant. Lucius kissed Narcissa's forehead before asking anything else. His eyes started to sting when his tears fell on his cheeks.
"She's alive" Narcissa whispered and pressed her forehead against Lucius'. "And I met her, and I hugged her, and she knows and I---" Narcissa started but her sentence was stopped by the enormous sobs which escaped her lips. "She's the girl I told you about...."
Lucius held his wife close to him, trying to comfort her while trying to comfort himself. His darling girl, his princess was finally home.
"Oh Cissa," Lucius whispered before pressing his lips onto hers.
After kissing him, Narcissa pulled herself from the kiss so she could tell her husband about their daughter. "She's so beautiful, Lucius. So so beautiful, and so sweet and kind," she told him and saw some light in his eyes which she hasn't seen in a long time.
Lucius tried to keep himself calm and not to fall apart, he couldn't do it to his wife. He swallowed and pulled Narcissa closer, letting her bury her tear stained face to his chest.
"She looks just like you, doesn't she?" Lucius whispered to her. Ever since Celeste was a baby, she shared many similarities with Narcissa; her eyes, her smile, her nose and lips.
Narcissa didn't say anything but nodded as a 'yes' against her husband's chest.
"I knew it," Lucius smiled and thought about his next question. "Do you think you could tell me where she's been?" He asked but got a loud sniff as an answer.
"But you don't have to if you can't yet," he said quickly, knowing how fragile his wife must be, he was too.
"She's been in America," Narcissa sighed and pulled away from Lucius so she could face him again. "She was found in front of an orphanage, and got adopted," Narcissa explained, her tears leaving her eyes freely.
"Our baby girl was someone else's for two years," she cried and swallowed. "Her adoptive parents died when she was six," she whispered, her voice breaking once again. "Her uncle raised her."
Lucius was unable to say anything, their baby girl had gone through so much. He just closed Narcissa to another tight embrace. "There there," Lucius sighed and gently stroked Narcissa's hair. "She's home now," he repeated.
"She didn't know, she didn't remember," Narcissa whispered through her cries. "All these years, she didn't remember us. She didn't remember how much we loved her, how much she meant to us. Merlin she must had thought that she was abandoned."
Lucius swallowed, just the thought of his daughter thinking that they didn't want her, hurt him beyond words. "She knows now Cissa. Doesn't she?" He asked to make sure.
"She does," Narcissa said quietly before letting out yet another sob. "S-she slept in my arms Luc. When we met, she fell asleep in my arms," She said with a tearful chuckle. "A-and then I had to see her go again and I'm so scared that she's not coming back or that she doesn't want to know us." She started to ramble her worst fears out loud.
"Hey hey Cissa, love," Lucius said softly and kissed his wife's forehead. "She would be a fool not to want to know you."
"I missed her so much. I missed so many important moments of her life," she sighed and wiped her tears away. "But she said she'll come over to the Manor on Friday, so in three days time," she said and a small smile formed on her face.
Lucius couldn't help but smile when he finally saw his wife's gentle smile. "I'm glad," he said, making the desire to be at home with his wife and now with both of his children was running through his veins. He gently placed his palms against Narcissa's cheek. "Tell her that I love her very much."
"I will," Narcissa promised and placed a soft kiss on her husband's lips. "I love you," she whispered to him when she placed her forehead against his.
"And I love you," Lucius said, tears filling his eyes.
