(Name) POV
As I finish preparing myself for today, I look to my left to see Tanjiro, my boyfriend of 4 years, still sleeping on our shared bed. He looks so cute I thought. Today was his birthday, where he was already turning 21. I still have a year left before I finally enter adulthood. I finally finished preparing my stuff as I already headed downstairs to the front door. I left a note for Tanjiro on the fridge, saying I'll be back home later in the afternoon. As I headed out, I was greeted by four familiar faces. Familiar being Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Aoi.
"(Name) - chan!" Nezuko greeted as she pulls me into a warm hug.
"Is Onii-san not awake yet?" She asks, releasing me from the hug.
"No, no yet. But he'll wake up in an hour or so." I said, adjusting my bag strap.
"Where are we going first?" Zenitsu asks, popping out behind Nezuko.
"Your an idiot. We have to buy supplies." Inosuke scoffed.
"Hey! Don't insult anyone. It's Tanjiro's birthday, and we have to prepare so Zenitsu was asking what store we should go to!" Aoi scolded, looking at her boar of a boyfriend Inosuke.
"Hey hey. Let's just go, we don't want to waste time standing here!" I try to positively say, already walking forward before they even say anything.
"Hey! Wait for us!" Inosuke shouted. Ah, how I love my friends. I thought.
timeskip (my apologies if you don't ship inosuke and aoi) to the mall (i dont ship them but i think it's cute)
"We're finally here." I huffed, looking at the entrance of the mall.
"Well, what are you idiots waiting for? Let's go!" Inosuke arrogantly said, speeding off to the mall entrance.
"Let's just walk." Zenitsu said, intertwining his hands with Nezuko.
"Aoi, let's go?" I said, tapping her shoulder lightly, waiting for her response.
"Yeah, let's go!" She says, putting a small smile on her face. Se pulls my hand, dragging me towards the entrance.
timeskip to one of the party shops there (idk what they're called lmao)
"Ok so, we got the banners, streamers, hats, and food utensils. What else do we need?" I ask, marking the party checklist with small checkmarks.
"We need the cake, right?" Zenitsu asks, pointing to one of the shops on the other floor.
"We already reserved a cake, so don't worry Zenny~" Nezuko said, teasing her boyfriend with the nickname.
"Ok, so the cake shop is on the 5th floor, not to far away from here if we use the escalator. Inosuke, I'm expecting you not to snarf down any part of the cake. And Aoi will we watching you. Got it?" I sternly said, glaring at Inosuke.
"Yeah yeah. I won't do anything." Inosuke scoffs, rolling his eyes at me.
"Good. We have to go now." I say, already walking to the escalator.
another timeskip (bc your author's a lazy little shit) to the cake store.
"Ok, we're finally here." I proudly say, looking the the others who were already exhausted.
"Finally~" Zenitsu whines, clinging onto Nezuko's arm.
"Come on Zenny, atleast have a little of energy." Nezuko says, trying to be positive.
"I'm still good." Inosuke says, proudly lifting Aoi on his shoulder.
"HEY! WOULD YOU PUT ME DOWN YOU STUPID BOAR HEAD!" Aoi exclaimed, squirming around in Inosuke's grasp.
"Chill, would ya?" Inosuke says, putting Aoi back down.
"Ok thank you, dear cousin Inosuke~" I sarcastically say, as we enter the cake shop.
"Hello ma'am, how may I help you today?" The kind old lady handling the shop asks.
"Oh, we reserved a cake last week and we're supposed to pick it up today." I explained.
"Your name please?" She says, looking at the pastries and desserts behind the counter to check for my name.
"It's (Last Name) (Name)/(Name) (Last Name) ma'am." I responded.
"Let me see, where did I put the cake . . . oh! Here it is!" She says, carefully pulling out the cake from the freezer behind her and placing it down on the counter.
"That will be 3500 yen dear." She says, pressing buttons on the cashier.
"Here you go Obaasan." I politely say, handing over the money to her.
"Thank you dear. Enjoy your cake and have a great day!" She said, smiling at us as we exited the store.
"Ok guys, we're finally done shopping. Now remember the plan: I ask Tanjiro to walk with me for a date in the park, and you guys set up at the house when I text you. Now I have to pick up Tanjiro, he's waiting for me." I explained, looking at them.
"Ok (Name) - chan! We'll be in our cars. Cya!" Nezuko happily said, waving her hand as the others have already started to leave the mall.
I check my phone to see 5 new messages from Tanjiro.

Perfect. I thought. I open the 'Groupchat without Tanjiro' texting:
(Name): Ok guys, by 4:40, you guys start preparing decorations. I'll try and keep Tanjiro as distracted as possible, but I think only for two hours. Goodluck guys. 4:17.
I put my phone back inside my pocket and walk to XXX Park.

Tanjiro POV
"(Name)!" I yelled out, her head turning towards the direction I shouted.
"Oh, you're finally here." (Name) says, giving a small but genuine smile that would always melt my heart.
"So, what do you wanna do for this date?" I ask, fixing my jacket as the cold air blew.
"Well, I just wanted to walk around the park, maybe stop by a cafe. I'm tired from going out today, so why not just enjoy the peaceful scenery?" She says, the wind blowing through her (H/L), (H/C) locks.
"Who did you go out with anyways?" I quietly ask, her eyes widening, hesitantly lookiing for something to say. Looks like she's hiding something.
"Oh, I uhm . . . went out with Nezuko! Yeah, we went shopping for uhm- clothes! Yea, clothes." She awkwardly responds, not trying to make eye contact with me.
"(Name), you smell like you're lying, but at the same time, it smells like you're not. Please tell me truthfully (Name), who did you go out with?" I ask her seriously, her hands visibly sweaty from nervousness.
"Okay, I'll tell you." She sighs, surrendering. "I went out with Nezuko AND Zenitsu. Okay? We we're picking clothes for Nezuko because she said that her old clothes were already worn out.
It doesn't smell like she's lying, so I guess she's telling the truth. I thought to myself as I just give her a small smile.
"Okay, I believe you. Now where is that cafe you were talking about?" I grinned, looking at her.
"Oh! It's over there by a block or so." She cheerfully says, grabbing my arm and dragging me to the cafe.
timeskip - 2 hours later.
(Name) POV
Aoi texted me that they were ready with the cake and decorations. As we we're walking, I look to Tanjiro to see a very wide smile. It makes me have butterflies in my stomach all over again. I happily thought, my heart warming up to the sight.
"Tanjiro? Why are you smiling so wide like that?" I ask, curiosity laced in my words.
"It's just . . . you remembered my birthday. Even my sister and close friends said they didn't remember it. Even so, I'm very grateful that I get to spend the end of the day with the person I love. You. You make me happy with that one small smile, and it just shows how much I love each and every part of your being. I love you (Name), and I hope we could last like this forever." He says, while tears are filling up my eyes.
"I love you too Tanjiro, and don't let anyone else make you think otherwise." I say as I pulled him into a kiss and then hugged him afterwards.
"Oh yeah right. I have something for you at the house." I say, before intertwining my fingers with his, walking to our home.
timeskip to the house (sorry for so many timeskips)
"Hello? Tanjiro says as he was the one who first stepped into our house. I watched as he went to find the lightswitch turning it on, only to be surprised by his close friends there yelling "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" at him.
"Y-you guys made this . . . for me?" He asks, still processing what is going on.
"Well it was actually Nezuko and (Name)'s idea, but mostly (Name)'s idea." Aoi confessed, rubbing her nape.
"Yeah, sorry Tanjiro, Inosuke, Aoi and I forgot about it, ehehe." Zenitsu says, making an embarrassed face.
"We prepared this all for you! Happy birthday Onii - san!" Nezuko said, hugging her elder brother.
"Tch, Happy Bornday, Gonpachiro." Inosuke said, while eyeing the food on the table.
"I hope you like this, we spent almost a whole week preparing." I said, walking to him and giving him a short peck on the lips.
"I love it! Thank you guys!" Tanjiro exclaimed, happiness written all over his face.
"And I also got this for you." I said and smiled, giving him a small box.
"What is it?" He asks, looking at the box carefully.
"Open it!" I said. He opened the box to find a beautiful white gold bracelet, with a hint of his favorite color, carved with our initials in it.
"Wah, it looks so beautiful!" He said, trying it on.
"I got us matching." I calmly said, showing him the bracelet except in different colors.
"Thank you (Name). This is the best birthday I've had so far." He smiled.
"Oi! Stop being so cheesy and let's eat already for God sakes!" Inosuke yelled, ruining the moment.
"Inosuke! Don't be rude to (Name), she's your own cousin!" Aoi said, scolding Inosuke.
Everyone laughed, as the rest of the night was full of sweet and happy memories.
