Sosaki watched as Kota nagged at Midoriya to eat something, waving his arms around wildly as he gestured at the boy's empty plate. After Water Hose had passed, the baby Alpha had been passed over to be in her care, since she was his aunt. But she's never been able to get Kota to interact with them as much as he was talking with Midoriya, stomping his foot and waving his arms around in a useless attempt to get Midoriya to eat.
She was well aware of who Midoriya was; the boy was an quirkless Omega that had been transferred into the Hero Course after he won the Sports Festival, coming in first for every event even though he had fierce competition from other powerful Alphas and Betas. She knew that it was no small feat that Midoriya managed to do so; Aizawa was one of the only Omegas in Japan that managed to make it to the hero course, though he put in a lot of effort to disguise himself as a Beta by always be on suppressants to hide his scent, and he had only succeeded in becoming a hero by entering the General Education course and transferring to the Hero Course.
However, despite his efforts and hard work, the poor kid had been booed by practically everyone in the stands for being a quirkless Omega that didn't adhere to societal norms, that he had no right to beat the other Alphas in the hero course because Omegas weren't supposed to be stronger than Alphas in any way. Obviously, that made some of the other Alphas in the General Education mad, but UA didn't really care either way, transferring Midoriya to the Hero Course almost immediately, though that had been pushed forward due to the League's attack on UA after the internships.
UA was very first school in Japan to open their doors to Omegas, allowing them to learn skills necessary to hold jobs, just like Alphas and Betas. They also were the first to allow Omegas to enter the Hero Course, but due to how the entrance exam was structured, it was almost impossible for Omegas to stand a chance. The written exams weren't much of a problem, since it wasn't a physical exercise, and most Omegas do well in the written examination, and were able to enter the General Education Courses, Support Courses and Management Courses.
But the Hero Course was a whole different story. The few brave Omegas who actually had powerful quirks and had decided to try out for the Hero Course couldn't do anything in the huge crowd of aggressive, dominant Alphas who destroyed everything around them, being practically incapacitated by their own instincts and natural submissiveness.
Omegas like Aizawa and Midoriya who had managed to train themselves out of listening to their instincts were rare, but it really didn't help that they didn't have compatible quirks to aid them in the exam; Erasure was useless against robots, and Midoriya didn't even have a quirk. Being unable to garner enough Villain Points fast enough and not being flashy enough to attract the judges attention for Rescue Points made it difficult for them to enter the Hero Course, not to mention the stigma against Omegan heroes in general resulting in biased judging.
Quirkless kids had terrible lives, and most of them usually ended up committed suicide due to relentless bullying and suicide baiting. Omegas didn't have it easy either, being naturally submissive and easy to take advantage of, so she had to admit, she was honestly surprised that Midoriya managed to last long enough to even live to the age of fifteen.
She was glad that Kota had managed to open up to someone, though. Kota had been devastated by the deaths of their parents, believing that they chose their hero work over him, and naturally, developed a twisted, cynical view towards heroes. The young Alpha was also stubborn, and refused to listen to anything that Sosaki told him, and she was honestly worried that her nephew had hardened his heart to the point that he would never accept heroes again, even though they were an important part of their society.
But somehow, the quirkless Omega had managed to worm his way into Kota's heart, and she couldn't be happier that Kota was finally opening up.
Tsuchikawa followed the brunette Alpha's gaze, landing on Kota as he somehow managed to convince Midoriya to eat something, and for some absurd reason, the silent Omega had chosen a small piece of broccoli.
"That's cannibalism." The small boy stated, eliciting peels of uncontrollable laughter from the students and a confused expression on Midoriya's part, but the stubborn boy refused to eat more despite Kota's whining.
"Looks like Kota imprinted on him." Tsuchikawa stated, and Aizawa glanced over at the greenette, "I'm not surprised."
"Does this change anything?" Chatora asked, "I'm not too sure how this... "imprinting" works..."
"Well... in simple terms, Kota's attached to Midoriya." Sosaki explained to her Beta teammates, "I don't think it changes anything too much... but Kota's opening up now."
"You think it's because he's an Omega? Even though he has a really weak scent..." Tsuchikawa asked, "Like... He seems more "motherly" or something? Since we're all Alphas or Betas."
Aizawa shook his head, "Midoriya's lost his parents at a young age. The media doesn't do a good job at portraying the families' losses when a hero dies, and both of them know that there is absolutely nothing heroic about leaving kids behind to fend for themselves. They both understand each other's loss."
"It's a little strange, don't you think?" Chatora spoke up, "Besides from you, Aizawa... I don't think I've actually seen an Omega that isn't affected by being surrounded by so many Alphas."
Aizawa shrugged, "While Midoriya may be biologically an Omega... he acts way more like an Alpha than anything. He was distracted while he was fighting you... Midoriya is a vicious fighter when he's serious."
"Just like you, eyy?" Tsuchikawa teasingly butted Aizawa in the ribs with her elbow, "Badass baby Omegas."
Aizawa slapped Tsuchikawa's arm away, as Kota climbed up onto the bench, settling down right beside Midoriya, as the Omega reached out and grabbed some food, placing them on the young Alpha's plate, much to Kota's chagrin and the amusement of the other Alpha and Beta students.
Despite claiming that he didn't have to be "babied", Kota didn't push the food that Midoriya had given him away, opting to just eat whatever he'd been giving.
"They're cute together." Shiretoko giggled, sneaking her phone out to take a few pictures, "Kota's got a big bro now."
Aizawa merely rolled his eyes, before he continued on with his meal, "So... what are they supposed to do after dinner?"
---------------------
Midoriya's eyes zeroed in on Kota, struggling in the villain's grip. He hasn't known the boy for long, but his instincts screamed at him to protect Kota at all costs. So what is Muscular was a S rank villain or whatever crap, he was going to beat the shit out of him for attacking his pup and his friends.
Muscular dropped Kota on the ground, readying an attack, but Midoriya just used that opportunity to rush in, scooping the young Alpha up in skidding out of harm's way. He deposited Kota on the ground, before he whipped a knife out of his pocket, glaring at Muscular with anger burning in his eyes.
"Ahh... the infamous Omega of UA." Muscular muttered, "A face on our list. I didn't come to pick a fight with a pathetic Omega, though."
Midoriya just growled at the villainous Alpha, as Muscular bulked himself up with more muscle fibres, before he lunged at the quirkless boy, letting Sero snag Kota with his tape. The power difference was clear, and despite Midoriya's best attempts to fend Muscular off, it wasn't long before Muscular slammed the Omega into a tree, breaking several ribs, before snapping the Omega's arm directly.
However, that just seemed to set Midoriya off, and the Omega just bared his teeth at the Alpha standing in front of him.
"That's really cute. Baby Omega fangs." Muscular mocked, his posture and scent screaming power and dominance, "What are you going to do with them? Bite me?"
Who was Muscular to attack his pup, disrupt their training camp, putting all his friends and the heroes in danger?
He wasn't going to let Muscular get out of this unscathed.
---------------------
Sosaki just watched, stunned, as Midoriya proceeded to beat Muscular up. Sure, the villainous Alpha had managed to land quite a few hefty, powerful hits on the greenette, breaking several bones, using his natural dominance to try and knock Midoriya off balance, but that did nothing to deter the young Omega.
Even Muscular's scent was barely affecting Midoriya, even though it was clear that even some of the Alphas in the class were put off by the villain's dominating aura. Midoriya just hacked away at Muscular with his knife, stabbing and slashing, even using the knife to make the villain's robotic eye explode in his skull.
There was nothing they could do to stop Midoriya before the Omega lunged at Muscular in a controlled rage, his own controlled, menacing aura completely outclassing Muscular's natural dominating presence, and even the villains were in awe as Midoriya twisted and turned past the Alpha's sluggish attempts to hit him. Despite his broken bones, Midoriya managed to perform an ankle break, completely knocking the villain off balance, before the Omega broke Muscular's nose with a powerful kick to the face. Midoriya knocked down another tree, pinning the villain underneath, before he finally took the villain out by stomping him on the face angrily.
"Dang." Iguchi commented, his eyes shining, "Badass Omega! That's awesome! That's why Stain chose him!"
Huffing, the Omega just turned away from Muscular's body, before he looked around, seemingly looking for something, before his eyes landed on Kota, who was in Kirishima's arms. Kota broke out of the redhead's grip and ran towards Midoriya, and despite his injures, the Omega just stood there, checking Kota over and reassuring the Alpha over and over that everything was alright, before he ran after the villains that had disappeared into the forest.
Sosaki turned her attention back to the students. Aizawa was right when he said that Midoriya was absolutely vicious when he was serious. She needed to get the stubborn Omega back an treat his injuries, but before she could do anything, Shinsou ran after him, yelling, "Midoriya! Breaking your bones is not how you dominate over other Alphas!"
It was clear that the lavender haired Alpha had a thing for the Omega, so it was no wonder that Shinsou would try to help Midoriya, but that just meant that she had to hunt two students down in this huge forest instead of just one. To make matters worse, Shiretoko wasn't responding, so that just made it even harder to keep track of everything.
But her quirk wasn't going to be very helpful in fending off the villains. Chatora was much faster, and had a higher chance of bringing the students back safely.
"Tiger, follow the pups." Sosaki ordered, "I'll go back to the base with these students and relay additional orders."
