Vanessa’s POV:
Pain, gut wrenching pain that felt like it was clawing at my stomach was all I could concentrate on. In other planes of my mind I could register that I felt extremely hot and felt sweat dripping off of me like I was literally bathing in it.
I had been in a nice little 'Sleeping Beauty'-type dream when the cute little animals suddenly began to run away from me…next thing I know my skin feels like acid is dripping onto it and I notice my hands are uncontrollably clawing at my stomach as if I’m trying to rip it out.
I can’t completely come out of my dream-like state and I’m starting to think I shouldn’t try to if the pain is already this profound. I feel my throat get scratchy and sore and I assume that I’m screaming, but I can’t hear anything. Abruptly I feel two searing burns, one on each of my arms and they make the pain in my stomach worse. My throat is starting to go dry before the searing feelings on my arms lighten and are replaced with cooling hands. Slowly I start to feel the slow burn of my body lighten up. I can feel the heat from my toes and fingertips traveling inward, leaving a trail of coolness behind as one hand leaves my arm and trails up my leg causing a whimper to escape my throat.
I already know who this touch belongs too. It’s like his touch is awakening every nerve ending in my body; a seductive melody that only Caeden can strum. My hearing is starting to come back but everything sounds like it’s under water. And then I hear that magical voice that belongs to the only thing that matters to me right now. Caeden.
“Vanessa, everything’s going to be ok, I promise. I just need you to wake up for me.” He whispers against my ear as his hands continue to soothe the once painstakingly searing slow burn all over. I take a deep breath and then sigh contentedly into his embrace. I can tell that he knows I hear him because he becomes less stiff.
“Caeden…” I whisper, even though my own voice sounds far away I know that I’ll be better soon.
“It’s ok…I’m going to help.” He says before he places a refreshingly cool kiss on my lips, sparking that electric sensation I've grown to crave. We’ve kissed tons of times, but when I tell you, it’s never felt like this, I’m not kidding. This kiss feels like I am inhaling the cool winter air on a February morning, sending shivers of pleasure throughout my body uncontrollably. I respond, opening my mouth for him and feel as though the minty coolness of his breath has traveled straight down my throat putting out the slow burn in my stomach. But the ache in my center is more alive than ever as I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him closer to me.
He settles between my legs on top of me and then pulls back, allowing me to open my eyes and stare into those frosty blue orbs of his. But the look in them is anything but cold as they melt my heart, the ache in my center becomes more alive and wetness pools in my core and that’s when I realize. I need him, like I’ve never needed anyone before. And his lengthy hardened member against me lets me know that he feels the same.
“It’s just the heat love, but I can help if you’re sure this is what you want.” He says in a voice barely above a whisper, but not at all holding back the enchanting tone I’m not sure he knows he’s using. I can tell he doesn't want to rush our first time but he also wants to put me out of my misery.
“I need you more than I need air right now.” I whisper back before gripping my hands in his hair drawing his mouth back to mine. His warm tongue asks for entrance and I allow him to open my mouth, each of us tugging and nipping at each other’s lips sensually. He leans me up into a sitting position and pulls my slightly damp shirt over my head. While we’re parted I tug his over his head letting the intense current of sensations traveling through me from each of our bodies pass through us and I can’t live without his body touching every inch of mine. I drag my hands down his hard, muscled chest as he reaches behind me to unclasp my bra.
“Just relax.” He whispers to me as he kisses me again, leaning me back against the pillows and bringing the straps of my bra down my arms. He then fumbles with my buttons on my jeans. Every touch of his skin on mine makes me want to do anything but relax but my wolf wants to please my mate so we oblige. “I want to show you how much I love you…” He says as his hands slide down the remnants of my clothes.
“Breathtakingly gorgeous.” He whispers as he leans on top of me again and kisses my lips. I moan into his mouth, letting the feel of his hands grip me like I’ve never felt before. I’m sure I’m pretty much soaking our bed but that doesn’t bother me. I feel his hand travel down my body and he leans to one side so that his slightly calloused fingers can caress my smooth slick center.
“Caeden…” I moan breathily as he teases the bundle of nerves peaking out.
“Mhm…so wet.” He whispers, actually making me blush a little before our lips connect again. I close my eyes wanting to remember everything about this moment and I don’t let my own blissful moans distract me from the new kind of heat coming from my center. But I get a little distracted when I feel the tingling sensation of Caeden’s lips slip down my neck, then across both breasts and down my stomach.
A loud moan escapes my lips as the first swipe of his tongue meets my entrance and I shudder as he works magic I’ve never had the pleasure of knowing. I’d always thought I knew what an orgasm was but Caeden was quickly showing me I was dead wrong. I could feel my body climbing that tower to sweet release. Then the shattering feeling took over and I gasped deeply as my mates tongue took me to places I didn’t know existed.
He barely left me time to recover before he climbed back up my body. “Remember the pledge I told you about?” He asked huskily, his mouth just a few centimeters away from mine. It took me a second to come out of my lusty haze enough to remember what he was talking about and nod. “You have to say it before I enter you.” He said in a tone that let me know he wouldn’t be able to hold his wolf back for much longer. I raised my right hand and looked into his eyes.
“I, Vanessa Smith, pledge my loyalty to you, Alpha Caeden, and your pack.” I whispered with a passion that almost made my eyes water. I felt my head clear and then Caeden’s whisper against my mouth,
“I accept.” before he leaned into my neck, biting me and entering me at the same time. I cried out in another new found sensation, my chest fluttered and I heard my wolf howl in my head as Caeden continued his steady thrusts into me. My back arched on its own accord as my body tried to get him as far into me as I could handle. He was much more than I’d had before so it took a few thrusts before he could completely enter. His pleasure filled groans almost sent me over the edge again on their own.
He leaned up, lifting my hips with his hands and speeding up his thrusts, eliciting louder moans from me. He was so deep I thought he might rip something. But I couldn’t stop him it felt too good. Not that I’d be able to form words, as I couldn't even catch my breath. I was almost over the edge again when he flipped me onto all fours, once again not giving me time to think before slipping into me. This was definitely a mating.
“Oh god.” We moaned at the same time before Caeden gripped my hips so tight I was sure there’d be bruises. Once again I was over the edge but he still didn’t stop as his thrusts sped up, keeping me hanging over the edge as wave after wave of earth shattering pleasure crashed through me. When I finally came down from it I literally slumped forward, no longer having the energy to keep myself up on my arms.
At last I felt him coming and it was the most erotic feeling ever to feel the warm seed of my mate poured into me. He collapsed next to me. Both of us breathing hard until our eyes landed on each other and we both let out winded laughs as we looked at each other’s flushed faces. His eyes held a passionate look that I knew was his love for me and it made my heart speed up, knowing that mine reflected the same for him. He’d known my body better than I had, and he’d given me exactly what I needed.
“Wow…” We both muttered at the same time causing us to laugh again. I felt absolutely complete, and happier than I could have ever imagined to be as I lay, sexually spent, next to my mate. When I had enough energy I turned over so that my bare chest was facing the ceiling as was Caeden’s.
“Beautiful.” He muttered, his hand tracing over my heart.
“They’re just breasts Cae.” I laughed and he looked at me, his cool blue eyes held amusement as he stared back into mine.
“If you say so.” He said getting up and heading to the bathroom.
“What do you mean if I say so?” I asked running behind him when I heard the water to the shower turn on. When I got into the bathroom I looked into the mirror. Just above my left breast was an intricate pattern of small roses, in the middle held the initials ‘C.C. I also trailed my hand over the barely visible bite mark on my shoulder.
“Woah…” I whispered, leaning closer to the mirror and tracing my hand over it. “It is beautiful.” I said before looking towards the shower door where Caeden was watching me. “Why don’t you hop in here if you think you’re ready for another round Luna.” Caeden said with a grin from ear to ear on his face.
“After that,” I said gesturing to the bedroom. “I want to catch up on as much as I missed.” I said before jumping in the shower with him. He immediately wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck. “Oh yea, and I love you too…” I muttered before his lips crashed down on mine. He lifted me up against the shower wall and entered me again. Once again everything was complete in the world.

“So what have I missed?” I ask Caeden with the biggest, goofiest smile on my face. I can barely stand being this close to him without jumping him…again. Caeden says that because of the nature of our relationship (he won’t tell me what that means yet.) I may have the heat for a while linger, even though we already mated. Something about my wolf preparing my body for a baby, but that won’t be happening anytime soon, if I have any say in it.
“I think that is a conversation we need to have with everyone.” He said as he pulls on a clean pair of jeans from the closet. He hasn’t dried all the way off from the shower we had yet so some drops of water travel down that smoothly muscled back of his and I can’t help but lick my lips as I watch it trail down.
“Are you even paying attention to me love?” Caeden asks and I snap my head up to his eyes. Immediately lusty thoughts start coming to my mind and he groans.
“I never thought I’d say this but we can’t do it again right now Vanessa we have a meeting that I’ve already dismissed for too long.” He said, looking away from me and trying to hold his breath.
“Sorry, sorry.” I mutter as I hold my hands up in a surrender pose. “I forgot.” I say apologetically, but I’m really not that sorry. I’m sure whatever he wants to tell me about isn’t nearly as important as he says it is and I’d much rather catch up on all the mating that I’d been missing up until this point.
“It’s alright love, just finish getting dressed before I lose control of my wolf.” He sighs looking at me distractedly. Just for that comment I make sure I brush against him more than necessary as I pass him into the closet. He growls and I run to the other side and quickly shove on the first shirt that I find, laughing. “You’ll regret that Vanessa.” He growls again but when he tries to corner me in the closet I fake to the left and run past him out the room door.
I still hear him growling as I tear through the halls.
