"Hey Ziggy, you did them problems for math?" One of my classmates, Kai asked as she walked up to my desk I sat in. I looked up at her and I guess she saw I was doing it right now
"Shit, everybody doing theirs right now"
"Cause everybody forgot" I told her while looking back down and Tia laughed
"Ion know why y'all be playing with Mr. Barnes like that. I told you that man was strict, why you think I got the fuck ASAP as soon as I saw I had him the first day of school"
"I should've got out too, shit" I muttered while I erased the work I did wrong to redo the problem, on my last one
My English class was the class I could catch up on work or do work that's due for another class because we really don't do anything in here. Everything is basically done at home and we review it at school then spend the rest of the class doing whatever so I took the opportunity to do my math work that's due after lunch since I can't afford any zeros and mr Barnes is quick to give one out
"What wrong with him?"
"Who?" I asked Tia while I continued to do my work
"Geo"
"Ion know" I looked up and over at him as he sat on the other side of me with his head down on the desk asleep
"Geo!" I reached over and slapped his arm until he sat up, looking over at me "you good?"
"Mhmmm" he responded while pulling his hood on grabbing the strings of his hoodie and tied them to hide most of his face while slouching further back in his seat. I looked over at Tia
"He good"
She sucked ber teeth and I laughed while getting back to my work
"You did your math problems?" I asked Geo while still looking down, writing
"Nah, I was busy"
"Don't you think you should be doing them"
"Fuck that class"
"Alright. You say that until you fail and then you gone be sitting right here next year as a repeat senior"
"I'm gettin out this bitch" Geo muttered while I finished my last problem then grabbed my paper, passing it over to him
"Be lucky I like you"
He took his good off, grabbed the paper and looked at it before reaching in his bookbag, grabbing a notebook then looked at me. Knowing exactly what he was about to ask for, I just went ahead and gave him the pencil I held in my hand so he could copy my homework
"Geo" Kai yelled from across the classroom where her seat was and he looked over at her. She pointed at her phone basically telling him to check his so he did. After he opened her message I saw a grin spread on his face and he looked over at her again while she smiled
"That girl a hoe" Tia muttered while rolling her eyes and I looked at her
"Why you seem so pressed?" I laughed
"I'm not. That shit just ain cute" Tia shrugged and I reached in the pocket of my sweats, grabbed my lipgloss and applied it to my lips seeing my phone vibrate on the desk. I picked it up and saw one of my classmates, Shakeem, text me

I smiled while locking my phone and Geo looked over at me
"Whatchu smiling at?"
"Probably one of her 12 boyfriends" Tia told Geo and I rolled my eyes
"Ion got shit"
"Ass be lyin" Geo chuckled
"And you one to talk.. getting random nudes in the middle of class"
"Aye.. I can't help the ladies love me" he threw his hands up
"That desk gone love you even more when you sitting in it again next year if you'on finish that work"

"Zakia babygirl you don't wanna stay for dinner?" Geo's mom, Yolanda, asked me as we were getting ready to go. After school I rode with him to his house for a little bit but now he was taking me home
"No ma'am I'm good. I'm not really hungry"
"Her lil boyfriend brought her some to eat" Geo unnecessarily explained and I eyed him
"That's not my boyfriend
"I don't know why y'all two not dating. All these years I'm surprised it ain happen yet"
"Me and Geo are just friends" I laughed "I think its best to stay like that"

"Shut up Geo.. let's go. I'll see you later ms Yolanda" I pushed him towards the door and she laughed. I followed Geo to his car and we left, riding in silence.
"You need to stop tellin yo momma I got all these different boyfriends before she think ima hoe" I randomly blurted out and he looked over at me
"Well shit, you gotta new one everytime you see her"
"That's YOU that's always with a new girlfriend. Don't play" I hit his arm and he laughed

I nodded while Geo shook his head keeping his eyes on the road

His phone vibrated so he picked it up to see who texted him, smiling at the message
"Tell your hoe she can wait. I need you lookin at the road while I'm in here"

"What I gotta say something for? You my best friend, not my nigga"
"Jealous" he mouthed out and I rolled my eyes
"Jealous my ass. You enjoy them pictures"
"I will.. I just got some more too. See" he turned his phone towards me
"Bye Geo" I pushed his phone away and he smirked, locking his phone back. After a while we arrived to my house and after Geo stopped he looked at me
"You need me to pick you up in the morning or you riding witcho friend?"
"Ion know. I'll let you know"
He nodded "Ight"
I grabbed my bookbag and opened the door
"Zig"
"What?" I asked as I held onto the door, getting ready to close it
"You might as well send me some pictures too" Geo childishly smiled and I straight faced him
"Fuck you Geovonni" I called him by his real name, slamming the door and he started cracking up as I headed fo the door, going in the house before he drove off
