I stick to the far corner talking with Bard and Thorin avoiding the Master at all costs. "You know you'll have to speak to him at some point this evening." I scowl "Not if I avoid him." Thorin chuckles "Will you at least dance with me?" I smile and nod once "One dance. That's it." Bard pushes my back lightly "Have fun." I glare at him before following Thorin into the middle of the room where people have started to dance. Thorin takes one of my hands in his and I place the other on his shoulder "I haven't danced in a long time."
He shrugs placing a hand on my waist "I'm sure you dance beautifully." I blush slightly and let him lead us around the floor. He grins "It's been a while since I've had such a skilled partner." I blush "That's very kind." he grins and takes my hand kissing it lightly "Thank you." I smile and lean down kissing his cheek "Your very welcome King Thorin." he blushes and I pull away walking back over to the side of the room. Bard smirks "Have fun?" I hit his arm "Shut up." the Master walks over shortly followed by Alfred and he smiles "So glad you could join us Elysian, and you look ravishing."
I smile tightly "Thank you." he grins his eyes roaming over my exposed skin. Bard pushes me behind him "Kindly stop staring at Elysian like a piece of meat." he chortles gulping down his drink "What are you going to do about it?" I smile sweetly allowing a small flame to circle around my fingers "How about not burn you?" Alfred scowls "You can not threaten the Master like that." I frown at him and Thorin walks over "Is there a problem?" I smile at him warmly "No problem the Master and Alfred where just leaving." he nods and I take his hand gently intertwining our fingers.
The Master looks between the two of us then stalks away Alfred scuttling after him. Bard sighs "I'll leave you two alone. Good luck with the rest of your quest." I smile and hug him and kiss his cheek "Thank you for helping us." he nods "Of course." he gives Thorin a curt nod and walks away. I find an empty seat by one of the windows and pull Thorin down next to me. "The Master is a creep." I sigh "I know, luckily we're leaving tomorrow." he nods and sighs looking throughout the room his eyes lingering on the dwarves.
"How are you feeling?" he sighs leaning closer "I'm scared for them. My nephews are reckless, Ori and Dori aren't fighters. They are so loyal and look up to me I don't want to disappoint them. What if I'm not a good king." I smile and place a hand gently on his cheek turning his face so I can look him in the eyes "You listen here Thorin Oakenshield. Those dwarves will follow you into fire, they care for you and whether you want to admit it or not you care for them to. You could never disappoint them, and your going to be an amazing King and if you need any pointers I was basically raised being told how to run a kingdom."
He chuckles and puts his hand over my own "Thank you." I smile "No problem." he leans forward slightly so our foreheads are touching "I never would have thought I would end up with someone as amazing as you." I blush slightly and brush my lips against his "Do you think we can leave? I can feel lots of people staring." he nods and stands "Lets go."
