What is a werewolf to do? It's uncouth to simply knock out one's mate with a club and carry them off to be marked like microchipping a pet. Especially when one's mate is a human. Even more so when one's mate is, well--could probably outsmart him every day of the week, if he's being honest. 

Leo was raised to be a gentleman, even if he runs around the woods naked. He just never thought he might end up with a non-werewolf partner. He's been focusing on training to lead the pack as Delta, taking over from his mom once he turns 18.  

As if always being third isn't enough to keep his self-esteem in place (always bowing to the alpha and beta), he discovers he's gay and mated to a human. How exciting. Leo feels like calling the stress excitement might make him less pessimistic but he's fooling no one. The strain is starting to show. But whom can he trust, or turn to for help, when his friends are in a constant pissing-contest, his mom's an overbearing parent, and his mate doesn't even realize he exists--at least, exists as his MATE?
