"Emmerson?! Emmy!" she ran into walls, knocked things over and threw her door open. She fiddled with the cap of the medicene bottle on her bedside table and took one pill out. She popped it in her mouth and swallowed the pill dry, as usual. She fell on the bed to awake several minutes later.

"Lilah.... Delilah!" The girl was startled awake.

"Emmy! Where had you gone?" Delilah asked frantically, looking the boy up and down.

"I am sorry, I fell behind while we raced. How is your headache?" Emmerson questioned lightly, resting a soft hand on Lilah's shoulder.

"All better now that you are here." Delilah answered warmly, smiling.

"Race you to the bus stop?" Emmy questioned, nervously.

"Yeah! I will make sure to beat you again!" Delilah answered once more, hoppin off her bed and running out the door, Emmerson close behind her.
