The world can be a funny thing, but sometimes it can be harder than we think. We live in a place where we need to be on our best and if you're a little bit different, then you will feel unaccepted and unworthy of living. Sometimes there will be moments in the past that are unforgettable, but we still try to be perfect and put those memories or feelings away for the sake of others. We may think that we are over those issues, but it can still be a part of your life where it keeps coming back, no matter what you try. Constantly having to act like you are okay, but deep down you know you aren't. When we put those feelings away for too long and try to be as strong as possible, then one day it will backfire and you will express your feelings at the worst timing, but you can't control it. Controlling feelings is one of the hardest things and this can lead to self-doubt, anxiety, unacceptance, imperfection, trust issues, alexithyme, guilt and lots of trauma. Sometimes letting go of the past is difficult, but once you've accepted who truly you are, with all the good and bad things that are part of yourself, then you will get better. But you'll have to take the first step to healing your scarred self and it has to come from you. But it is easier said, then done.
