"I can't believe we're breaking into the state prison!" I whisper-yell at him. He just smirks at me. "Calm down sweetheart. We'll only be a minute." He continues to pick the lock with a piece of broken bottle. It was only a matter of time before a cop saw and shot us both. "I'm going home," I stated. I turned on my heel and began to walk away. "Do that and I'll carve your name on a cell for all to see," He said calmly. I turned towards him, ready to smack him. "Why are you so determined for me to prove that I can be bad?" I demanded. I wanted to stomp my foot but I had a feeling he would only laugh. He looked up briefly to shoot me a playful grin. "Haven't you seen the movies? Who do you think always falls for the bad boy?" He asked. I scoffed. "Too bad this isn't a movie. Last time I checked this was reality." "Don't deny it, Princess. Sooner or later, you'll fall in love with me." When Olivia Fell moves to her new town, she expects the worst. With family issues and the death of a close family member still tearing at her mind, she isn't open to any new relationships. Then she meets Jay Brooks. He cocky, mean, and everything she hates. Jay has his own problems. He has a dangerous past and even more risky future. He knows he shouldn't get involved with the goody-two-shoes new girl, but he does anyway. One bet is all it takes to bring them together. ATTENTION: I'm putting this story on hold for a while. I haven't updated it in over two years, but I just can't find the motivation to continue. I'm having a somewhat permanent writer's block. If I ever do get around to finishing this, it will be severely edited, but it is more likely that I will delete the entire book sooner or later. If by some miracle you actually were interested in this story, then I sincerely apologize for not being able to continue it
