Soren is tired of hearing his deadname. As a recently out trans man, it seems that even the most well-meaning of his friends can't quite get it right. All Soren wants to do is be given the chance to grow into who he is, but it feels like an uphill struggle with everyone around him. Archie has been bullied all his life. Moving schools a lot means that he's never been able to settle in properly. Forced to sit next to a bitter and exasperated Soren, Archie recognises another who is just as tired as he is, even if Soren won't give him the time of day. But Soren can't accept love for himself as he is, and Archie struggles to express himself. With the end of the school year approaching and Archie knowing he likely won't stick around long after summer, can the two learn to open up to each other before life parts them?
