"Can I read the blurb on the back of your book, please?" I hear a soft, angelic voice to the right of me say. As a delicate, flawless hand reaches out and daintily touches and points to the book I was currently going to start reading. I freeze for a second before slowly turning and locking eyes with the most beautiful pair of honey-colored eyes I have ever seen. I gulp, "Sure." I silently thank whoever gave me the power to make my voice come out steady. She smiles at me. That inviting, kind, gentle, smile that I seem to never get enough of. --- Jane, a sophomore in high school who is a relatively normal person. She has a few friends, has a good relationship with her family, gets straight A's, loves reading, never sneaks out, just a good, normal kid. Fia, a sweet girl that everyone loves. She's kind, wholesome, pretty, smart, and is perfect in every single way imaginable, flaws and all. Jane has been going to school with Fia since 6th grade, and she never really paid much attention to Fia. Jane always thought she was just a boring good-two-shows. So she just didn't pay that much attention to Fia in middle school. But then, near the end of the eighth grade, they were all sent home to do online school because they needed to quarantine. Then comes sophomore year, sophomore year was the year everything was supposed to go back to 'normal' and they were actually going back into the school, instead of online. Throughout quarantine, Jane has found out she really, really likes girls - as well as guys. So, the first day of the sophomore year comes around, she sits down for her English class, then who does she see walk through the door? Fia. Fia, the most breathtaking person Jane has ever seen. Fia, who no longer really looks like an awkward middle-schooler. Fia, with heart-stopping honey-colored eyes that Jane curses herself for never noticing before. -- This is the story of Jane and Fia.
