After Lukes boyfriend dumps him in the worst way possible, he's left to pick up the pieces. He comes to terms with the fact that his love life has never been as great as he'd like to pretend it was- and maybe he's just not meant for true love. What can he do to try and gain some sense of control over the life that's beginning to fall apart right before him? Well... couldn't hurt to lose a few pounds and take back the body that every boy he's loved has used him for; the body that everyone seems to obsess over and talk about way too much. Or, maybe it could hurt. Yeah, it could hurt way worse than he ever imagined it would. He continues to lose himself, meanwhile Ashton just knows something is wrong. His best friend hasn't been acting like himself for a while, and it only seems to be getting worse. Can Ashton figure out the truth behind Luke's strange new behaviors before it's too late? Once you start reading the hate, you don't stop. You repeat the words over and over in your head until you believe it's true yourself. It's not going to stop, you'll just have to learn to live with it. Always being a little more sensitive when it comes to critic, Ashton finds himself having a hard time dealing with the hate, that comes with being famous. His band mates, however don't seem to notice, they themselves don't have a problem when it comes to hate, they simply learned to ignore it. Ashton didn't. He never learned how to do that. He had already cut before and managed to stop, for the band, for the fans, for his friends. But the constant hate seems to trigger it again and this time his friends don't realize what's going on, except for Luke. He notices soon enough, at least everyone hopes that it was on time.

Luke's battle with substance abuse and Ashton's declining mental health, mixed into their already crazy lives, starts a horrible downhill spiral for one of them.
