This is the first book of the Cerrien's Haunted Travel series! :D

When mysterious deaths have been occurring throughout a tribe of cat-like demon species called cerriens, no one knows who's responsible, until they discover a terrible sickness that causes members of the tribe to turn against one another.

In the middle of the chaos is a shy cerrien named Echo, who has problems of his own to handle. His adopted mother has been terrible to him his whole life, shaming him for "attention seeking" when he tells her of a strange power of time travel that Echo feels is a curse. With the help of his friend, Inferno, Echo must gather his courage and learn to step out of his comfort zone to challenge her, while also trying to survive in the place he has always thought of as home.
