(Cover is credited to @ThatSaltyMango) Startled and afraid, (Female) Agent 8 fights for her freedom against (Male) Agent 3 after abandoning her squadron that was supposed to lead the getaway to Octo Canyon. Out of nowhere, they're both suddenly knocked unconscious and wake up in a dark lab, about to be sanitized. Will they escape? Find out. Reached #1 in Splatoon at some point during 2021 93,287 words (yes, i calculated dw), not counting the 7 intermission/notification chapters. He succeeds, but gets trapped in deal he can't escape from. A few months later, a shadow starts terrorizing the land of Inkopolis. It strikes at night, it's blade cutting down everyone that gets in it's way. One night, four travelers gather to stop the shadow, and go out to fight it.
