I am nobody in particular, I have no power or influence, and I have no idea if reading this will be worth your while. But I do remember a quote from Edison (no idea who he stole it from) saying that he didn't fail 2000 times when inventing a lightbulb, but rather found how not to do it. With that in mind, if you're not too busy and want an honest account of what it's like to be a barely functioning ball of anxiety with a huge dream in a big new city, trying to become someone worth loving and failing most of the time, with a dollop of sarcastic, self-deprecating humor and honesty, then I welcome you with a warm, nervous, nonjudgmental smile into the story of how NOT to do it! How not to become rich. How not to become famous. How not to make friends. How not to find the one...well, that last one is more complicated. It's been so long since I've been to London... and so much that has happened, I don't know where to begin. Here goes.
