Mature
British showrunner Sam Culver and smarmy semi-retired game show host Jimmy Howard reach out to the Garden Alpha streaming service, hoping they'll greenlight their new sure-fire hit for production. But in order to make the pitch look good in comparison, they come up with an idea they have no intention of making, a cynical exploitative reality show which asks cisgender men if they would transition for a million dollars.

They didn't expect that young programming executive Daria Bryant would go for the idea.

Red Storm (American Horror AU 2)

25 parts Complete Mature

The sequel to 'Uplift', Jimmy Darling abandoned carnie life in Jupiter twenty-five years ago, taking his wife and "family" with him--a lot has changed. Will his past as a "freak" catch up to him? Will his family, especially his precious daughter Elina, suffer for being different? Will his eldest Annika finally find her place in the world? What will become of Dot and Bette? (Written AU, post-Season 4) (WARNING: Contains mature content that may be disturbing or triggering! Discretion advised) Excerpt: "What is the matter?" she asked. "Elina," he said. "What about her?" "I tried to talk to her about…you know…" Jimmy trailed off, seeing the curious expression still on Britta's face. "Is it about that boy?" she asked. "Yeah," Jimmy said. "I just don't wanna see the girl hurt. She's my pride and joy." "I know, she is growing up," Britta replied. "You are her father, and a very good father at that." She kissed his cheek. "One day, you will need to let her go. She is becoming a woman."
