In a world where New York City is ruled by the Shredder-formally known as President Saki-a gruesome event takes place every year. In this event, two tributes between the ages of 12 and 18 are taken from each District. Torn from their families and loved ones, they are taken to the city's Capitol and forced to fight to the death.

This event is called the Hunger Games.

The time for these brutal games has come again. But from the moment the new Tributes step foot into the Capital, everyone can tell that something is different about them. No one knows how, no one knows why. But, for whatever reason, they're not like past Tributes.

Could they be the very first flicker of hope the city has had in forever?All Rights Reserved

Sixteen year old Katniss Everdeen volunteers for her twelve year old sister for this event called The Hunger Games where twenty four children fight to the death and only one comes out as victor. A boy named Peeta Mellark was reaped alongside her. These two come out of the games as "Starcrossed Lovers". This caused a few uprisings in some districts. President Snow doesn't want another rebellion so he sends Katniss and Peeta back into the games with other Victors from each district. This causes a whole other war and this time, the districts pull out on top. The Hunger Games are ended and Snow is executed and everyone is safe again. Yeah, let's fast foward about fifty years. My name is Larise Parigood, and the Hunger Games are back. And this time, they're as heart wrenching as ever. Warning: Much Vulgar Language, Profanity, and Uncomfortable Topics. In this Hunger Games fan fiction, we follow the story of Grace Frost, a 16-year-old girl from District 12 who was reaped for the 76th Hunger Games. Grace is not particularly skilled in hunting or combat, but she has a likable personality that makes her popular among her peers. Before leaving for the games, Grace asks Katniss, the winner of the 74th Hunger Games, to take care of her daughter, Faith Anderson, in case she does not make it back. Katniss agrees to the request, knowing all too well the pain of losing loved ones in the games. The 76th Hunger Games are unique in that they are taking place during a time of increasing rebellion against the Capitol. As the games progress, Grace realizes that she has become a symbol of hope for the people, much like Katniss did in the previous games. She uses her popularity and charm to win the support of other tributes and the Capitol audience. Meanwhile, Katniss and other rebels are working behind the scenes to support Grace and use her as a symbol to rally more people to their cause. They know that the Capitol will do everything in their power to prevent a repeat of the 74th games, where a tribute from District 12 emerged victorious. As the games come to a close, Grace finds herself facing off against another tribute from District 12, a tribute who has been trained specifically to take her down. It's a tense and brutal battle, but in the end, Grace manages to emerge victorious, becoming the first tribute from District 12 to win the Hunger Games twice. However, the victory is bittersweet, as Grace is haunted by the deaths of her father and James Anderson, the father of her daughter, and she knows that the Capitol will not take her defiance lightly. With the help of Katniss and other rebels, Grace begins to plan her next moves, knowing that the fate of her daughter and the entire district is at stake.
