Will redeeming the lost possibly have a sequel by chance? I love all your stories, but that one is one of my favorites to reread.

In case you haven't heard, the Wattpad inbox messaging system is about to be deleted (the alert is at the top of your inbox). Please make sure you contact your Wattpad friends to arrange another location to talk! Here are some alternative ways to contact me or stay up to date: -posting on my profile page -joining my monthly newsletter (bottom of my website - https://crystalscherer.com/ - don't forget to accept the confirmation email!) -I do have a follower discord for those who want to chat about my books: https://discord.gg/5ebs6ZwqKd -For those who prefer email, I have a contact form at the bottom of my website: https://crystalscherer.com/ Alas, I don't use social media reliably, and they don't send email alerts for messages, so I might not see any messages on Twitter, FB, or Instagram right away or possibly even for several weeks. Sorry! In other news, I have more stories planned for Wattpad! A large series will be coming this summer and is vaguely similar to Heartfire, but without the zombies.
@ues1368 Lots of people are slowly leaving Wattpad, although they don't all seem to be going to the same writing apps. If it helps, I have a new large series coming out this summer (July or August, likely) that is a lot like Heartfire but without the zombies. The Virus Within was fun, but after 826,000 words, I needed a break. Lol. I did repost the original version (bottom of my profile), for those who wanted to re-read it.
@CrystalScherer I left Wattpad in a nutshell. I'm sad the series ended for The Virus Within. That was the only thing keeping me on and also a Different Virus. Although, I still can't read the original cause of paywall but at least I got to see ending in Laura's version.
Will redeeming the lost possibly have a sequel by chance? I love all your stories, but that one is one of my favorites to reread.
and how do i write romance as a Christian but not go against the words of God, i simply want my new book to be safe for christians as well
@official_bluesette As far as romance goes, keep it PG-13. (Take a look at Song of Songs in the bible). Kissing is fine, and small shows of love are appreciated. (hand-holding, giving of flowers, especially among the older readers). Fade-to-black for bedroom scenes (preferably if married, or have them pledge themselves to each other. Sleeping around with others or having more than one wife is discouraged in most Christian denominations) Don't glorify abuse, etc. You can use the ten commandments as a general guideline for what might turn a Christian reader away. I found it easier to use outside antagonists to challenge the couple (be it people, weather, events, etc).
I just read you bio and found out you're a follower of Christ and that's really nice, do you mind if i ask you a question ?
@official_bluesette waiting on God's time is always the best, the sermon was lovely ❣️
@official_bluesette Watched this sermon recently, and got a chuckle at the 9-10 mark. Sharing in case it interests you: https://youtu.be/3wn3P87jOi8?si=QyHOghFjaz5LfJuB
Hi, I was curious if the zombies in ‘A Virus Within’ would freeze given snow or low enough temperature? I know you mention they don’t feel the cold but they can heal so they have some form of working circulatory system so that got me thinking.
@Mya_Eve Simply to add to the horror aspect (and because they can survive things like bleeding out and lungs filling with water), I'd say they'd survive. :)
Do u publish on Neobook?
@CrystalScherer oh okay thank you they've never ever replied me so i thought it was a bot :)
@official_bluesette Interestingly enough, it's not a bot, but a person paid to mass spam accounts. I've reported hundreds like this over the years. Some days I find it more entertaining to leave a message so other readers/authors realize the original message is a somewhat subtle fishing hook. :)
Hi please I'm new on wattpad and I need your help with something. When the heart sings is nice by the way
@debbireads Unfortunately, I don't have much spare time to read lately. Have you checked out my writing guide, Tips for Writing on Wattpad? It's near the bottom of my profile page and has my usual writing advice.
Hii. Um how do i join groups on wattpad. Am new with zero writing friends
@official_bluesette No worries. That link can be used by anyone. Any Wattpad writer looking for friends and community or readers looking for suggestions or reading clubs.
@Writes4Feyibabe I hope you don't mind i used your link to join the group
Hello again! I just published the first two chapters of the spin-off of A Different Virus! I made sure to write that it's based on your book, but I tried to tag you in the description and it didn't work? Do you know if there's a way to link your profile so people can click on it to find your book?
@macaroni_1220 The linking is sometime tricky/impossible. My URL profile link is: https://www.wattpad.com/user/CrystalScherer/ (Or you can just say/tag @CrystalScherer )
I'm a new writer and all but am also a fan of yours. I dont know how to get my work published though
@write4feyibabe Publishing on Wattpad is easy. Unless you mean self-publishing (like on Amazon) or traditional-publishing (like querying)? I touch on those two a bit toward the end of my writing guide: https://www.wattpad.com/story/130518849-tips-for-writing-on-wattpad
Hello! I’m currently working on a spin-off of Heartfire and I was wondering if you could tell me whether Wainwright Fort or Sanctuary is closer to the US border? Im slightly unfamiliar with Canadian geography and I want to make sure I write the correct journey for my characters!
@macaroni_1220 Wainwright fort is much closer to the US border. Sanctuary would be closer to Alaska actually than the Southern US/Canada border
