"Yes anything else" she fake smiled
"Nope that's it you can head out after" he said
"Okay thank you have a nice holiday" she said since Christmas would be next week but neither of them would be there

As for nia she wanted to Persuade her dream job as a nurse but her father wouldn't pay for her to go to college for nursing he thought of it as a waste he wanted her to become a lawyer like he always wanted
Nia not wanting to disappoint her daddy she went to college to be a lawyer two years later she was working in a big office with a large window view and plenty of clients you could always say that she was smart
"He knew shit was misspelled before he gave it to me" she mumbled erasing and fixing his spelling
"Incoming call from mommy" the phone read making her pick up
"Hi mommy" she smiled
"Hi baby" her mom said
"What you up to" she asked still looking over the files
"I'm just cooking cookies for the kids at the homeless shelter what you up to"
"Looking over some files before I get up to leave" she said
"Your coming home for Christmas right" her mother asked
"Yes ma I'm coming home for Christmas" she said

"How- you know what mommy I'll get with you later when it's time for my flight to leave" she said

"Ho ho ho" her work friend Martin said coming in
"Hi Martin" she smiled
"So when we get there do I act straight or do I stay gay" he asked since he would be spending Christmas with her family

"Dad!" She yelled walking up to the car
"Come on put that shit in the trunk it's crowded up here" he said as nia mouth opened wide seeing that he wasn't one bit excited to see her

"We gone be high before we get inside" Martin said waving the smoke

"Come on yall let's get inside and get y'all some food I know y'all hungry from that long plane ride" she said grabbing their hands

"He should be landing soon- don't sit yo ass down you gotta go back to the airport!" Her mom yelled as they walked inside the house

"Mom I love the theme it's so homey here" she smiled looking at all the Christmas things

"You guys get washed up for dinner" she told them making them nod
