-This is a romance, new-adult book, and there are some scenes or topics that you may be uncomfortable with. These include some themes concerning depression, anxiety, drug use, and sexually mature scenes (last is marked for audiences who may want to skip it).
-This is a friends to lovers book, but it's also has a 'Before' and 'After' theme, because I wanted to write a book that is different from what you typically read in friends to lovers. The "Before" chapters take place when the main character, Layla, is between 14 and 15 years old, and the "After" chapters take place when Layla is between 18 and 19 years old.
- This is the first book of a three books series, but there is no cliff-hanger, and Layla and Jaxon's story ends when this book ends (every book in the series is centered around two different characters in the same world).
- This is the first book I'm writing (attempting) in present tense, so there will probably be errors in the tenses. I don't mind constructive criticism (I love those actually!) so please correct me wherever you see errors.
