Sorry for the mistakes.

Nandini's pov

So, today I am getting engaged with the person who used to be my Crush. For others it is like a Fairy tale, but the reality is something else which I'm afraid to think about.

Anywhich ways, My mother and friends are irritating me from the morning by saying do this, and do that.

I hate doing make-up, yet here I'm sitting at the same place from last 3 hours. I have got headache by all these different kind of brushes thrashing over my face.

God knows, what the hell are they doing with me?

" How much more time, Zara? "My mother shouted from the outside

" 10 minutes, Aunty " Zara yelled, who's sitting here to keep me at my place

I tried numerous time to stop or just move a little bit but one hard glare from her is more than enough to stop me.

Finally, for what felt like eternity, I heard the magical words which I was dying to hear " Done "

Without wasting any more second, I stood up stretching my back and arms letting out a groan, when my eyes fell on the mirror only to get shock.

The reflection I saw, wasn't me, it couldn't be me. The lady in the mirror looked classy, mature, sophisticated and most important beautiful which I am not, instead I'm completely opposite of this.

" You look beautiful-est" Zara complimented with a smile

" Ofcourse, I had to. Afterall I sat at one place for 3 hours " I said sarcastically rolling my eyes

" I don't have time for your twisted humour, now come on, Lets go " Zara said adjusting my veil on the shoulder properly.

Zara and Jovi have come to Delhi for the engagement, while Divya couldn't. She'd be here for the wedding.

The moment I went to the threshold of the room, My hyperhidrosis kicked in making a tinge of sweat on my palms and my nervousness on some another level

" I can't do this " I stated seriously to Zara

" What? Nandini, its okay to feel nervous. Just take a deep breath" She tried her best to calm me down

" No, No, I can't go. Go outside and tell that I ran away " I told her an excuse

" Are you shitting me right now? " She frowned

I didn't said anything, only rub my clammy palms to the brand new Lehenga I was wearing

" Nandu, look there are only a little people downstairs which you can count on your fingers. None of them are strangers or any distant relatives. I know you very well, you can do this" she tried softly this time

" But Zara, I know myself. I am very clumsy and prone to embarassment, what if I tripp in this lehenga and that Manik will laugh, then? " I expressed my insecurity

" First, you're not going to fall or trip and second If you do and he laugh, then I'll kick him where the sun doesn't shine " she said seriously making me relaxed a little

" Fine " I muttered still stressed

In slow strides, Zara helped me till outside of my room by holding my lehenga.

The minute, I stepped into the living area, every eye was on me making me nervous again

Don't they have any other work?

It was like my feets have jammed by seeing everyone looking at me, just when Jovi came and muttered "Damn, you look Gorgeous, Girl "

" Where were you? " I asked ignoring her compliment
