Natutulog pa rin si Darlene sa kwarto kaya hindi na ako umalis dito. Hindi na rin siya magawang gisingin ni Tita Serine dahil mahimbing na ang tulog niya. So, they let her sleep in my unit.

"Nix, dito na kasi kami makikitulog," Harvey said, he kept on saying that.

"Bumili kayo ng sarili niyong condo. Lumayas kayo." I closed my room door.

"Bahala ka! Dito kami matutulog!"

I let out an heavy sighed. Ang kulit nila. Pinapauwi ko na sila pero ayaw pa nila. Dito na lang daw sila para mabantayan si Darlene. Hindi naman nila kailangan gawin 'yon dahil nandito ako. I can take care of her.

I removed my shirt and went inside of the bathroom to take a quick shower. Nilingon ko pa si Darlene na natutulog bago pumasok sa loob. Nang matapos lumabas agad ako, I didn't wear shirts since it's hot.

I removed the pillow beside Darlene, so I could lay beside her. Niyakap naman niya agad ako kaya hindi muna ako nakagalaw. I tried to removed her hands pero binalik niya lang ulit. Hinila ko na lang siya palapit sa 'kin. She lay on my arms.

Tinaas ko ang blanket niya dahil malamig ang mga braso niya. "Good night, Darlene," I whispered before closing my eyes.

Nagising akong wala sa tabi ko si Darlene. The sun was hitting my face. Nilingon ko ang bathroom nang may marinig na pagsara ng gripo. Tumayo ako dahil nakakarinig ako ng sigaw mula sa living room, sa balcony ang punta ko para naman matahimik ang tainga ko.

Umagang umaga nagsisigawan.

I leaned on the railing as I saw a woman from the other unit. She winked at me, bumaba ang tingin ko sa katawan niya. She was wearing a big shirt and... undies inside. Halatang pinapakita pa niya ang katawan.

Mas maganda pa rin sa 'yo si Darlene. Inalis ko ang paningin sa kaniya dahil nasa loob ng kwarto ko ang gusto ko.

"Hey, do you have a girlfriend?" She asked, she was scanning me using her eyes.

"No..." Her eyes twinkled because of my answer. "But I have a wife." I added before going inside of my room.

Sinilip ko ang bathroom at nandoon pa rin si Darlene. Kinuha ko rin ang phone ko sa gilid dahil panay ang tunog.

I answered the call, it was Attorney Reyes. "Hello?"

"[Nix, I thought mahabang proseso ang mangyayari, hindi pala. I consulted the marriage contract if it was Legal and... wait it was from email. You want me to send it to you?]" I heard a door closing coming from behind. Lumingon ako at nakita ko si Darlene na nakatingin sa akin.

"Can you just send that to Lala? I'm with my wife." Yeah, asawa ko pa rin si Darlene. Future misis ko siya.

"[Wife, you mean her?]"

"Yeah. Thanks." I ended the call. Pinatong ko ang cellphone sa lamesa. I pulled her closer to me, holding her waist while she's not facing me. I kissed her cheeks, naamoy ko agad ang buhok niya. "Good Morning, Darlene." I threw the cigarettes that I was holding.

G-Good Morning. Pwede mo na akong bitiwan." Halatang naiilang siya. "Tsaka, akala ko ba tumigil ka na sa pag-smoke?"

"Phoebe wasn't here." I kissed her cheeks multiple times. "Are you okay now? Does your head still hurt?" I am so worried about her.

"Kanina lang." She smiled.

"I'm so worried about you." I really don't know what I am going to do when she is crying while sleeping. I couldn't imagine that her nightmare was haunting her. ""I thought you got kidnapped, buti na lang suot mo ang necklace mo kaya madali kitang nakita."
