.: My Backpack :.

⭒⸼⁺〭 ⚝ ⸢ ugh ⸥ ⚝⸼°⭒⸼⁺

⁺⭒°⸼ ⸢ Today I'm gonna be talking about the things I keep in my backpack -  it's a small thing, but every little thing that connects me to my true self counts.
⚝ My bluetooth keyboard - I don't know why, but having a tiny fold-up keyboard to write things with makes me feel like I did when I was in the right world. I didn't really have anything like this... I don't think it had been invented yet? Because my latest memories of the world were in some kind of 90's state. But y'know why it feels the same? I used to use my early 2000s style tech like this! It was just older! I put spells in .txt files on my ipod because i didn't have a laptop, jerry-rigged my audio files like I do with my subs now (I don't know if they were subs, but same diff) and if I'd had a phone and keyboard, I would be using them to do the exact same thing as I am now - making it possible to take my mythical stuff with me wherever I go!
⚝ Sketchbook - I was a furry before I knew I was a shifter. Same sh⭒t, different pants <3 I have one skill, and it's drawing wolves with emo hair.
⚝ Tiny swiss army knife - It's pink. Apparently, Claire's used to sell them in the 90's... This was the closest I could get to survivalist gear in my true life, because most of my memories were from when I was a kid or young teen, and my parents wouldn't let me have a "real" pocket knife :( The one I have now is sharp enough to carve "faolan wuz here ^_^" into stuff, so it gets the job done!
⚝ Tiny flashlight - it's the size of a AA battery. I don't like using flashlights, I feel like it's a waste of my animal night vision, and having the smallest flashlight possible means I'm not weighted down by it, but I have it when I need it... It's also 500 lumens at its brightest, so it's usually more for other people than me because it's better than theirs.
⚝  Tiny binder - full of secrets!! actually just like, doodles and spells and stuff. I use it as a rough draft for my spellbook, I don't have a good, small cloth-bound notebook yet, so I'm sorting through ideas to make nice diagrams to copy into it once I find one!
⚝ Gel pens - they're 3 inches long, so I have a pack of 24 that fit really nicely in my  backpack. Sparkly things are comforting to me, and I have a color of pen that has a real significance to me... I used a very specific color to write my spells, and I think it had a magical significance to me.
