Twelve

When shekhawat family reached home they all settled down in living room , and then riya's dad initiated the conversation,

Riya beta you believe us right?

Yes papa , what kind of question is that?

You know right? your dad will always take the good decision for you ?and she nodded with smiling,
So beta we have fixed a blind date for you with a boy ,and we want you to meet him tomorrow.

Ok papa , she said and her family was shocked on her instant replay. Well she had decided to told her family that she is ready to marry but she never thought that coming this early alas she said yes to this meeting.

Beta see we are not forcing you , take your time go have talk with him and then give us your answer ok? Her dad said and she nodded, then they told her where to meet and when, then they all retired to their respective rooms and went to sleep.

Next morning both were restless about the coming meeting, Riya had buried herself in reading Books in library and here Rahul was busy having some meetings and all . Then it was time for them both to go for their blind date, so Riya leave college with her friends, she already told them everything and they just consoled her they could feel their friends sadness, but they can't do anything about it.after reaching home she get freshup and dressed simply in an anarkali suit,did natural makeup let her hairs open and went to told address and when she entered hotel manager immediately recognised her as his boss mom had already informed him about her so went to greet her ,

Miss.shekhawat , good afternoon ! welcome to our hotel. Riya also greeted him back and then it clicked to her that she don't know name of the boy she is having date as it's blind date.

But seeing that the manager recognised her she didn't care and he lead her to one of the private room of hotel as per informed and asked assigned waiter to se if she wants anything and went to inform Rahul about Riya's arrival.

When Rahul heard a knock on his office he let the person in and saw that it was his PA ,

Yes?He said raising his eyebrow.

Sir , hotel manager called,and said that your date is here already. Rahul nodded at him ,and he leaved.

Rahul sat there and after pondering for sometime on a thought should he go or not he decided go and finish this quickly.
Meanwhile Riya was thinking about her life she so wanted to say no, but for how long will she runaway from the present situation and was thinking ,when she heard a masculine and very familiar voice which makes her heart to run marathon greeted,

when Rahul reached the hotel section  he immediately was escorted to the room by  his manager. He entered and greet the person who was having her back towards him and he found it similar but shrugged it away.but when the person turn around both were shocked would be understatement.

Unknown to both of them their family had already talked about there relationship yesterday and Riya's dad wanted to turn down the proposal there's itself because of the event happened in their home ,they didn't wanted to go against her wish at any cost but Rahul's mom convinced them saying that they  should let their kids decide this, and then giving a thought to their request and after having a discussion with his family he accepted and wanted to ask Riya there itself but Rahul's brother said,

We should let them know eachother first ,and then you can ask her , and after that they fixed everything and Rahul's family told riya's family to not tell Rahul's name to her and vice-versa,Now here they are infront of eachother having confusion and shocked written all over their face.

They both just couldn't understand the things going around them,

What are you doing Here Riya?

What are you doing here Mr.kundra ?

Both asked at a time. And was confused about whats happening,
When  Rahul's phone rang and he pulled his phone out of his pocket to see his mom was video calling him ,he first hesitate but received and when he did his whole family was there and shout,

Surprise! And laughed for a second he didn't understand what they were speaking about.but then it clicked to him and then he was surprised will be understatement.he was on cloud nine.

You guy's are such a big lier ,with having a big smile on his face and his family laughed out loud and then his mom said

Don't come home without getting yes from her to marry you. And he laughed.

Meanwhile Riya also called her dad and asked,

Papa what is the name of the boy i am date with?

Ohh it's Rahul rishabh Kundra, her papa said casually without knowing his daughter's heart'situation which start running miles after hearing her father.

Whatttt? She asked widened with eyes.

What happened beta ? If you don't like him that's okay we just send you to have meet only.

Hmm.no.no.no.papa it's not like that,i... I just called you confirm it , okay we will talk in evening. With that she cut the call.

And turned around to get bumped into Rahul , who smirked and said

See i had told you, you like bumping into me , making her blush.

After that Rahul pulled chair for Riya to sit and there was silence for sometime no one from both initiated conversation when a waiter appeared knocking on door breaking the awkward silence between them for take their order.

Then Rahul initiated the conversation to ask her about, what she will prefer to have and she hesitantly told her preference about food and then the waiter leave living the room to fell in silence again.

Here we are done with our twelfth chapter.
