I find Bridget quickly in the locker room as she gets all of her stuff, "Hey, how's Sophie?"

"She's good."

She looks at me, "What's wrong?"

"I almost kissed him."

"Who?"

"Luca. The firefighter that's staying with her."

"What? How did that happen?"

"Well, it didn't. I just happened to be very close to him and think if I was in there any longer, I would've."

"I think you're sleep deprived and have drank too much coffee tonight. Let's get you home."

I sit on the bench, "Oh, Christian can never know."

"Okay, you're delirious. Why does that matter?"

"I don't know. It just does."

"You need sleep, no coffee, and do not call him."

"I need to stop working at night. It makes me delusional."

She laughs, "That's not possible. It's our one escape from Sydney."

"Amen."

We're both quiet. "God, I think he had a ring on his finger. I'm so dumb."

"You're tired. Forget about it."

Nashville

Bridget, Josh, her boyfriend, and I walk into the bar after showing the bouncer our IDs. We find a small table near the dance floor since all of us plan on line dancing tonight.

"What do you two want to drink? I'm just going to start a tab."

"Truly. Strawberry," she tells him before he looks at me.

"Same for me but wild berry."

I scan the bar to see what kind of crowd we've got on a Wednesday night. It's pretty lively. A lot of couples. A lot of singles.

My eyes catch a tall, dark-haired man standing in the corner of the bar, talking to his friends. He looks too familiar. I guess I have a type. Never thought Christian Yelich would be my type but here we are.

When he turns a bit more toward me, I gasp, "No fucking way!"

"What?"

"Far right corner. I'm pretty sure that's Christian."

"What? No way."

I point and she follows my finger. She gasps, "It totally is!"

"Does he know you're here?"

"He knows we were coming to Nashville. But I didn't tell him details."

"Then it's a huge coincidence, right? It has to be."

I stare at him, in shock but he doesn't see me. "You have to go over there."

Josh comes back with our drinks, "Thanks."

I sip on my drink, "Are you going over?"

"I'm going to wait."

"For what?"

"For the alcohol to kick in."

Josh looks confused. "Can I tell him?"

"Yes, but don't say shit about it to anyone," I tell him.

"There's a guy in the corner behind you on your left. Plays for the Brewers and they've been casually sleeping with each other," she tells him.

He looks behind him, "Yelich, no way?"
