Adelia stayed in Matt's arms until her breathing calmed down and her hands stopped shaking
no one said anything.

Adelia sighed pulling her head off of his chest and moving to sit next to him, he wiped the mascara which had ran down her face off with his hands and kept his hands cupping her cheeks
"you came?" she asked tears threatening to fall, knowing he was actually there and actually cared
"i ignored you."Matts eyes looked down ashamed
"you still came." she smiled causing his eyes to meet hers "that's all that matters."
"last call for 2022 graduates to be in the gymnasium" the intercom interrupted
"i can be mad at you later- right now i need to go get graduated" she laughed as they both stood up
Adelia looked in the mirror making her face not look like she just had a panic attack and Matt wrapped his arms around her resting his head on her shoulder
