She started stealing books after her brother died on the train on her way to her fosters parents home the first book she stole was the grave diggers handbook. She didn't know what the title was or what the book was about she kept it as a memory of the last time she saw her brother. From then on she stole books and read them with Hans hubberman her foster father who she bonded with greatly. He taught her how to write and soon enough she discovered the power of words.
