====================================

How pitiful I am,
Envious by my own kin,
To the things they have and I have not.

Those tales of experiences they have told me,
With a bright and joyous face.
While my mind grits in jealousy,
Asking myself, "When can I do that too?"
"Will I be able to do those too?

Tales of theirs bring me not only excitement,
But also dubiety for myself.
It seems, Philotes has always had her eyes for my own kin,
But never at me.
