The long drive made me even more nervous.
Sa totoo lang ay kahapon pa ako kinakabahan pero ayaw kong sabihin iyon kay Kuya Beau. I don't want him to pull me out or something! May pagka-OA pa man din ang isang iyon!
I was deadset to enter the academy as an Aeris. I'm in my Sophomore year and I don't want any more ruckus. I'm too tired of it all. I don't want anything grand or some kind of a special treatment. I just want to study in peace and graduate like a normal student. And Casa Aeris is the only way. Flamma is way too flashy for me.
But when the car stopped in front of a gigantic gate made of steel, no one prepared me on how flashy the academy would be once it opened. It's literally a... castle. Disney princess naman ang atake! Sinubukan ko pang kusutin ang mga mata ko, but the sparkles never went away! It was a god-damn castle!
My mouth was left wide open. Slim square towers surrounded the academy in a perfect circle. The academy was connected by big, solid walls made of blue stone. Grand windows are scattered around the walls in fairly symmetrical patterns. It wasn't what I expected at all.
I know that it's a big school. But not this big!
I still wanted to admire what I was seeing, but then I saw some students passing by. Naalala ko bigla na kailangan kong pumunta sa headmistress' office.
Ilang beses ako huminga ng malalim bago napagdesisyunang pumasok sa loob.
"Good Morning, Ma'am," bati ko agad pagpasok nang bumungad ang isang may edad na babae. She was sitting on her dark swivel chair.
"Ms. Santiago?" Nagkagulatan na lang kami nang headmistress!
