The townspeople were terrified, and they looked to Lena and Kai for answers. But the two friends were just as baffled as everyone else.
One night, they decided to investigate. They snuck out of their homes and met in the town square, their flashlights casting flickering shadows on the ground.
"I think it's connected to the curse," Lena whispered, her eyes scanning the darkness. "We broke it, but maybe we unleashed something else."
Kai nodded, his face set in determination. "Let's find out what's going on."

As they explored the town, they stumbled upon a hidden room deep in the woods. Inside, they found ancient artifacts and mysterious scrolls.
