But I Feel

Nine.

I was on cloud nine,
When you were mine
And only mine.

I would smile like a bright blooming flower in the sun
when ever you come.

We walk hand in hand
On the green prickling soft grass,
Bare footed.
Laughing each time you cracked
A silly joke.

I then wished for that time to be eternal
For you to be eternal
For us to be eternal.

But my wish just burned
down to ashes,
When you were gone
Resting in peace in the heavens
Up above.
You left me here, alone
Only to go up there among those
Twinkling stars...

But I feel..
But I think
That may be you, from some where
Up are watching me.

I look up the sky
Only to find a star shining
The brightest near the moon of all,
As you claimed one day would be your spot after life.
I believe it to be you, smiling down at me from there...

I smile back thinking
That you kept your promise....
That you will always be with me...
May be not that I can touch you,
But I can feel your soul..
I will remember you in my sweetest memories.
Only to forget when I die!!
