Alex thought Julie knew. She surely did. His friends made it too obvious. He made it obvious too, at least he thought so. He often found his eyes resting on hers, which always were looking somewhere else. Maybe she never noticed he looked at her. He tried to do it whenever she was looking a different direction after all.
