Percy feels sick and full of rage. Jason is dead. He sacrificed himself for Piper. Would Percy have done that for Annabeth? Definitely. But he didn't like imagining him in Annabeth in that position. He can't imagine the pain Piper is feeling right now.
Piper is still beating up Harry, and she just pulled out a knife.
Let Harry die.
But we might need him to get back.
"Piper," Percy says. "We need him alive."
Piper seems to come back to being herself. The look of rage leaves her face.
"You're right."
She hits Harry in the head with the back of her dagger. He slumps to the floor, unconscious.
Percy looks around the room. Jason's dead. Everyone else has multiple bruises all over their body.
"So what now?" Annabeth asks.
"Now," Percy snarls, "we get the hell outa here."
