CH 20 AT BREAKFAST

Emily's POV

We walked down the stairs, passing the ballroom,

'The ballroom looks beautiful' I said to Jake,

'Too much for the tradition' He said to me smiling,

I know which tradition, the one Kate told me about.

'Do you believe, What it says?' I asked Jake, excitement flashing in my eyes

'Well, I didn't before but when my parents told me they danced together at my fathers coronation ball, I did' He said to me,

He looked at me and smiled

'You look excited' He said to me,

'Because, I am I have never been to a ball before' I told him,

'Do you know how to dance?' He asked me, worriedly

'Yes I do, I love dancing' I told him,

' I learned ballroom dancing for my prom, at highschool' I said to him,

'Great' he said with a small smile and we continued to walk

We reached the dinning room, and Jake was greeted by a group of guests

'Greetings Price Jake' four ladies, who were a little older than me said, sitting at the dining table with Jake's mother and father.

'Good Morning' Jake said sitting at the table, beside one of them,

I stood behind him,

'Jake, they are the witches which are going to form the barrier around castle for safety' Jake's father said to him,

Witches?, now what's coming next Werewolves? or Demons?, god I have to be prepared for surprises

'Thanks for your help, kind witches' Jake said to them smiling

'Anything for the safety of the crown, sir' the one sitting besides Jake said with a small smile, she looked at me

'What is your name, sweety?' She asked me softly, she looked very kind and humble.

'E-Emily, ma'am' I said, returning the smile,

'Nice to meet you Emily' she said to me and gave me her hand for handshake,

As soon as I touched her hand to shake, I felt a little spark in my hand and removed it,

She looked at me and smiled widely,

'Why are you not sitting down Emily?' she asked me,

'She is Jake's slave, Lilly' Jake's mother replied,

'This can't be' she said with a shocked expression

'Why?, she is a human' Jake's mother said

''She is not a human, she is a witch' Lilly said loudly, and everyone looked at me in shock,

What?, This women is nice but crazy, I am a witch??, What the hell??

'I am a human, not a magic doing witch' I said to Lilly,

'You are a witch, witches can identify other witches, didn't you feel the spark' She said to me,

'Yes I did but a spark doesn't prove that I am a witch' I said to her, everyone was looking at us,

What the hell is happening with. me, I accepted the fact that Vampires exist,

I accepted the fact that I will remain a slave  of one, for the rest of my life, but this can't be true,

'Emily is a human, she doesn't do magic' Jake said to Lilly,

'Thank you' I said to him, still shocked,

'She is a witch, Wait, I can prove it' she said to me and Jake,

She said some words, in any other language and snapped her fingers, a candle appeared on the table.

'Emily, look at the candle and repeat the words I say' Lilly said to me,

'I am not gonna do anything you say, I am not a witch' I yelled at her,

'Emily, relax just do what she says, okay?' He said to me holding my hand,

His touch relaxed me a bit, what's the harm in trying?

'Fine' I said to Jake,

'Emily, look at the candle and repeat after me' Lilly said to me,

I looked at the candle,

'Vasmatos insendia' Lilly said

I focused at the candle and repeated her words

'Vasmatos insendia' I said, and nothing happened

'See, nothing hap-' I was about to say, when the candle lighted up,

'Oh my god' I said and I fainted
