How It Works

1. Read The Rules on the next page. Follow them as instructed.

2. Once we have enough entries, we will choose 64 competitors:

16 stories will be chosen for each genre group:

Group One: SciFi, Fantasy, Paranormal, Werewolf, Vampire

Group Two: Action, Adventure, Mystery, Thriller, Suspense, Horror

Group Three: Romance, Chicklit

Group Four: All remaining fiction- Historical, Teen, General, etc.

3. Each Round will be judged on a different criteria:

Round One: Title, Cover, Blurb

Round Two: First Chapter

Round Three: Characters

Round Four: Plot

Round Five: Overall Story

Final: Judges' Review

4. Each Round will have its own chapter for voting comments, and depending on how many competitors are in each round, the Round may be broken into different parts.

5. Readers will be able to comment with their input as to who they believe should move on, but the Judges will make the final decision.

6. Each Round will eliminate half of the competitors:

Round One: 64

Round Two: 32

Round Three: 16

Round Four: 8

Round Five: 4

Final Round: 2

7. Prizes will be rewarded starting at Round Three, including sticker, shout outs, reading list adds, reviews, and interviews!
