you have to halve it for love
this very night. there's no easy way --there's just a face in the city tonight
looking over with sold sleep in her eyes --
there's no other way, it's just how it is --but tomorrow will always drive me crazy
because my love lusts, my lust loves you
in window panes -- no more soft disdain
for what we were before.but i swear it: i'm in love with the pangs; the dust that i kick up --
walking by your pictured side: can't you see our emptied cup,
the language that is being lost; tired tongues that tried for our lot.(26th April 2019)
