Flower

In the garden,
There was once a flower
Its aroma tantalized
And soothed my soul
Its transformation
From a beautiful bud
To an exotic bloom
Amazed my core
It reminded me
Of our crimson love
Which was once
As beautiful as
The growing bud.
But then slowly
It started to wither
Just like the flower
It lost all its beauty
And started to fade
In the nature's glory
But like a withered rose
In a diary of love
I embalmed it
In my heart.
