When I first started writing this book, I had no idea the journey it would take me on, and I am humbled at the response readers have had! In July 2019, it was selected for the Wattpad Picks list, then won a Watty in the Romance category! I was over the moon that something I wrote was good enough to be considered one of the best on Wattpad. I am still, even now, pinching myself!

I have been writing for most of my adult life. I write for me, the stories I want to read, the stories that won't leave my head. The inspirations that come to me in dreams, fantasies, and ideas that pester me until they go from mind, to fingertip, to keyboard.

As writers, we live and breathe our characters. We imagine fanciful worlds and passionate love affairs, all the while painting with words to bring life to our creation. For so many of us, writing on Wattpad is done for sheer joy. We do it because we love it! If others love it too, then we are doing what writers do best, which is writing a good story, and telling it well!

This is my story, and I am so very excited to share it with you. To have the chance to do so through Paid Stories here on Wattpad is a dream come true, and the opportunity to keep writing while supported by the program is an immeasurable privilege!

Not only does it compensate me as a writer to keep writing, but it supports the platform we are reading and writing on! I truly believe Wattpad is an incredible place to come and find the most interesting, diverse, and original writers in the world today. I'm in good company.

How much does the story cost?

The cost depends on the coin package that you purchase. You can purchase each chapter as you read, or unlock the entire book.

How can I read your story if I can't afford to buy coins?

Thank you for wanting to read the book! Unfortunately, not everyone can afford to pay to read. I have written other books that are still free to read, so please do check them out on my author profile!

Why did you decide to publish the story in the Paid Stories Program, instead of traditionally?

Sharing my stories on Wattpad has given me such amazing insight into readers! Not only what they like (or don't like), but where they are in the world! I have been able to interact with my readers instantaneously, which is something traditional publishing could never replicate.

The Wattpad Paid Stories program is an alternative route to publishing my writing. I want to support this incredible author platform that has given me so much already, and this opportunity enables me to work with the Wattpad team to be a better writer!

Will you ever publish this book traditionally?

As of now, the wonderful team at Wattpad are in charge of all publishing decisions for the book. If you would love to see the story in another format, or as an audio book, let them know!

Will the story always be in the Paid Stories program?

The story is in the program for an agreed upon time. If you unlock the story via coins, you can access and read it as many times as you like!
