after
living here
for so many years.
a hunger aches in our soulless eyes.
burns out our rotten hearts.
and we yearn.
So,
we ate each other.
but it didn't cure our hunger.
than it came in a wave.
the living be will be our greatest game.
one bite and we're hooked.
like a drug we're addicted.
that's when the bodies pile,
and our hunger grew stronger.
yet it doesn't last.
cause we crumble and we hurt.
a side effect
we over looked
cause it's better to feel alive.
then to search for a way.
to stay dead
once and for all.
