          I just published a short story (2600 words) called Parental Supervillains. 
          Feel free to check it out of you like superheroes or find them cliched, either way, you will enjoy it in sha Allah. 
          
          Here is the synopsis. 
          
          My father is a supervillain. 
          My stepmother works with the police. 
          I know my father's secret identity. 
          My father knows I know his secret identity.
          My stepmother knows my father's secret identity. 
          My father thinks my stepmother doesn't know his secret identity. 
          I know my stepmother knows my father's secret identity. 
          My father expects me to cover for him while he is terrorizing the city. 
          My stepmother expects me to help her deal with my father as he is terrorizing the city. 
          I just want to go on the class field trip to the Aquarium.
